    Couldn't be happier

    What I like about this basket is it’s nicely woven. It looks like it’ll stay secure and together for a long time. It doesn’t have any sharp parts that poke at you. I’m using it above my fridge for concealed snacks and I just love the size of it it is perfect size for the top of a fridge. I only took a star off because I feel like for the price. It could’ve been a little bigger.

    Pretty, smelly

    This is a pretty basket but didn’t hold its shape with baby blankets in it and has a strong, bad smell (I guess it’s the plant fibers but am not sure.. it’s not a chemical smell). I hoped it would air out but it hasn’t and anything put in the basket smells bad after.

    Previously I purchased two smaller sizes of this Water Hyacinth Basket by Threshold. This larger basket seemed as though it had been used and returned or over-handled. The smaller baskets were kept in shape with cardboard inserts and were well packaged for shipment. This larger basket arrived in an appropriate size box,however, it was not stabilized adequately for the shipping process.

    No stripe!

    I ordered three to place in cubicles on my TV stand. If you particularly wanted the dark brown stripe in the middle I wouldn't bet on receiving one with it. In all three the brown stripe is not prominent or noticeable and each varies in tone and height on basket--the light color stripe isn't always in the middle. Choose in store if you want an exact look. Otherwise cute and functional basket!
