Breast Milk Storage Bags - up&up™

Some seam were not sealed correctly so the bags leaked. I’m about halfway through the box and have encountered a handful of bags that do no seal correctly at the sides and leak milk.

If I could leave no stars I would. Every 1/3 bags ended up leaking and I’ve lost so much breastmilk because of it. Don’t waste your money, they are cheap and will leak .

Everything is fine except the zipper. The lower one NEVER closes the first 5 tries. If you want to add 20 minutes to bagging milk at the end of the day, these are for you. I actually have stopped bagging to come here and write this because I’m so annoyed with them. Good thing I bought 100 and have to use them up now.

Flimsy, don’t stand up, top flaps are annoying to peel apart after you rip off the top piece. I have a beef with these they suck

Whoever designed these need to be put in jail for the rest of their life. I can't not tell you how many ounces of milk I've wasted/gotten all over myself just trying to get the flaps out of the way to I can pour the milk in. They're flimsy, feel like a Ziploc bag and they only hold 6oz, if you put anymore they say the bag will explode. Anyways do not purchase these.

why pay more for the same quality? these work perfectly and are no different than the name brand in my opinion. I love these and will continue to purchase them.

I used an older version of these, so maybe they improved since. These go up to 6oz. I filled most of my bags up to 5oz. I would say 1 in every 4 leaks during the thawing process. I freezer flat and make a brick after I've lost alot of milk from the leaking! but I've learned to thaw them in a baggy.

These were given to me with my first baby and the first milk bags I used. At first they were fine, as I was pretty much just storing the milk in the fridge and we’d use that for bottles almost immediately. After a while, I used some of these bags to begin building my freezer stash. I have used multiple different brands to store my frozen milk and now we’re starting to pull from it after my leave ending. I thought the first couple of leaking bags were a fluke. The milk would be defrosting and leaving residue all over the fridge. A couple even poured out of the bag when it got thawed enough. I froze milk in different amount and used different methods to freeze them flat, which leaves the bags responsible for the tears. This is so frustrating because every drop counts and nobody wants to clean their fridge at 6 am because the milk is everywhere. I’d skip these bags and buy the lansinoh ones. They’re a similar shape, and sturdier so they haven’t ripped for me. These are cheaper, but you pay for it in quality and wasted milk.

One Star is too much. I stored over 100 ounces of milk including 15 ounces or bright orange colostrum. When I went to defrost my milk it all tasted like plastic and ruined everything I had stored. INCLUDING MY COLOSTRUM.

These bags claim to have a double zipper, but the top zipper does not zip or seal at all. I purchased two boxes of 200 count each so I am very disappointed! The previous version of these bags (that I purchased 2 years ago with my first baby) did have a functional double zippers, so I am very disappointed the quality has gone down. The only upside is that one of the zippers (the bottom one) works.

These bags store milk and don't leak, that's the only positive. It took my wife and I a few days (which is a big deal with regards to a 5 day old baby) to realize the measurements on the bags are way off. For example, the bag shows there's 120 mL of milk in it (150 mL if the bag is laid flat), but when I pour it in a bottle, (the bottle) reads 80mL. I verified the accuracy of the bottle with measuring cups. So these bags will make it appear to have a LOT more milk in them than there is. This resulted in us underfeeding our baby for a couple of days 👎👎👎🤬

A dupe for the favorite lansinoh bags and in my opinion, they work the exact same!! Save the $ and buy the up&up ones!!

these are my favorite milk storage bags! as a mom of 2 with her hands full, i need something simple and reliable and these have never leaked or let me down…and they’re cheaper than many others

Bought these in a pinch when I ran out of motif bags on a trip. They are so thin and flemsy. Hard to pour milk into and I’ve accidentally spilled and wasted so much. Motif way more durable.

While just costing cents per bag, you're absolutely getting what you pay for here. The bags are cheap, and they will remind you. While storing flat to freeze, these bags stick together, unless both bags are already completely frozen. Once they are stuck, you have to pull them apart, and this is where the problem comes in. The bags are fairly thin, so when you separate them, they break. In my personal experience, they've cracked straight across, leading me to have to defrost the bag in a container, no water, and give it to the baby so no milk will be wasted.

If you like wasting milk buy this… the worst storage bags I’ve ever used. I cannot tell you how many bags had micro tears in them after being frozen.

I do wish Target went back to the blue design from about two years ago for these bags because I preferred writing date/time/ounces on those blue bags than the purple bags. That said, the quality and function remain the same. Still the same ounce markings to see how much milk you’re storing, then write on the bags top label that provides spaces for date, time, ounces, and name. Everything you need for safe storage. These bags won’t break or leak like other brands will, but again, I personally don’t like the contrast of the purple and personal preference was the blue color from a couple years ago. Price is right, better value than others.

Do not purchase. Cheaper than other bags but I had never had an issue with leaking bags before until I used these. Half the milk in the bags leaked all over my fridge before I noticed when thawing.
