Installation is so easy!
Love this car seat so much! My 9 month old is super happy to be able to see more, and seems so much more comfortable in his big boy seat. Switching between my husband truck and my car is so easy as well. The clock tight is a must have for switching a car seat back and forth.

Sand Onyx is not Tan!
Awesome product! This is our second purchase for second vehicle. Very easy to install and adjust. Game changer compared to other “top” brands. I am disappointed because in the pictures this looks tan. It looks grey in real life.

Great seat!
We absolutely love this seat. The install is a breeze, my kids prefer it comfort wise over our old gracos. The extended rear facing limits are fantastic, our 4.5 year old is still comfortably rear facing in hers. Easy to assemble and wash. Very slim side to side and incredibly compact front to back.

Can we get a moms input in design PLEASE
Britax. Can I ask WHY the strap pads are connected to the car seat? Why would these not be removable to easy washing? Which leads me to my next point… why are there so many elastic loops in impossible to reach hooks that hold the cushions in place. Car seats have to be washed. Their ease in washing ability is what makes or breaks a car seat for me. I love this car seat but zero stars for its wash ability. Also, the anchors are not click connect, they are the incredibly frustrating squeeze latch thing. 0/10 recommend. You definately want the quick and easy latches that are just like car seat buckles.

Versatile and easy
This car seat is amazing. It’s beautiful, it’s strong, and easy. Installation was a breeze, and I thank britax for putting clear instructions on the seat insert stating under 22lb, you must use it rear facing. My 13 month old is 19lb and I definitely took the insert out before seeing the warning on it! The shoulder pads are amazing as they don’t fall down because they have grippies on them! My daughter was no longer liking the infant seat which is why I got this one and now, she loves sitting in her big girl car seat!

Not the best, not the worst.
The Ruby Onyx color does NOT look red in person. It’s a pinkish purple. Definitely disappointed with that. Overall, it’s a good seat. My son finds it to be comfortable, it installs easy because of their one click system. It is pretty bulky and heavy if you have to switch it from car to car. The strap covers are NOT removable. Like, not even to wash them, i don’t think. Overall I don’t hate it but I’ll be looking for another seat to use as his main, will use this one for backup.

Could be great with some changes, do not recommend.
The seat is very comfortable and the fabrics are nice. It is a more breathable seat than others. The click tight technology makes for an easy installation, though it is more difficult to close the bottom of the seat than anticipated. Unfortunately, it is very difficult to secure a baby in a this seat. The strap covers (which seem amazingly comfortable overall) have a almost rubber type of backing to them that irritates little ones. Somehow, our straps never seemed to be even, and no matter what I've done, I can't get the straps tightened just right. They're either too loose (to where I can pinch the webbing) or too tight and make my little one uncomfortable and leave marks. This problem has gotten more difficult as he has gotten bigger. I've also had some problems with the recline that I contacted the company about, but have simply not heard anything back. I really wanted to love this seat, and in many ways, it's nice; it simply misses the mark.

Not for kids who get car sick
This is our 8th Britax car seat, so we love the brand, just not this particular seat. Loosening and tightening the harness is more difficult than it should be, the lever to hold while loosening the straps is buried under layers of fabric and the strap to tighten them is against the seat of the car. Our baby gets car sick often and it is a nightmare to clean. The shoulder pads are not removable, so we cannot wash the smell out of them. I do not believe the straps or favorite around the rebound bar are removable either, if they are, we haven’t figured it out. The pieces that do come off don’t go back on as nicely, so we have an expensive car seat that looks and smells awful. The click tight function seems to be very temperamental compared to our other click tight car seats and I find myself having to manually unlock the bottom of the seat before pushing it down. The head rest adjust nicely, and it looks very cushy. If knew 9 months ago what I now, I would have kept our marathon opted for another brand.

Very happy with purchase
When our previous convertible car seat was recalled, I began looking for a replacement option. I had always heard Britax was a reliable brand and was drawn to the 50lb rear facing limit of the Poplar. The click tight technology makes for an extremely easy installation and the seat feels very tight and secure once installed. My son seems comfortable and I like that the sides are slight lower than our previous seat, which makes it easier to get him in and out. The only negative I’ve run into so far (which is more just an adjustment vs. our previous car seat) is that the harness release button is sometimes hard for me to find/reach. I provided this honest and true product review in exchange for a rebate on my purchase.

Perfect for my 14 month old
This car seat is cushioned in all the right places and it's very sturdy. It's feels super safe with the anchors and the seat belt it's not super bulky it gives me more room than my last car seat. My kid sleeps beautifully with the recline her head doesn't fall forward I love it!

THIS IS THE ONE!!! I was recently in a car accident and the Britax One4life help up perfectly (and my Graco disappointed)! I decided to replace them both with the new Poplar S model Britax released. These are sturdy, safe and the EASIEST install with the click tight technology! I love this so much I would work for Britax and share my story. Look how I can fit 2 next to each other in the back of a Toyota Camry and still have a 3rd seat open for a passenger! I’m telling you, this is the one if safety, space and ease of installation is important to you. It is heavy, but that’s because it’s steel and needs to be safe for your babe. Believe me, in an accident you will thank yourself for this purchase and peace of mind!

STRAP COVERS CANNOT BE REMOVED TO CLEAN
I couldn’t hate this seat more if I tried! The strap covers are not removable so keep that in mind when purchasing. We’ve only had ours for about 4 months and I’m already on the hunt for a new seat. My 9 month old has spit up on the strap covers and we have tried everything and can’t get the smell out. It’s driving me crazy!

We love this car seat!
Our girl was outgrowing her infant seat and we were struggling finding a good convertible seat for her that was safe and comfortable. I love the extra padding and the anti rebound bar for rear facing. The color is beautiful and it washes/wipes off so well. I love that the padding and cover is washable too!! Our girl didn’t seem to like her infant seat very much and she seems to love this seat, so I’d say it’s comfortable for her! Overall I’m very happy with our purchase.

We love this seat!!
We recently got this seat as our daughter was outgrowing her infant seat and we’re in love! It’s so beautiful and comfy. We picked the S as there was more cushion/padding included and I’m glad we did. We did notice that Britax car seats tend to have shorter crotch straps, but she still fits in this comfortably And has no problems with the buckle. I’d highly recommend this seat!!

Great quality! Easy to install!
The car seat is very nice quality. Out of the box you can see a lot of labeling for where things should go and how to install. The instructions are very simple and when I wanted a visual example there are several on YouTube. After following the YouTube video I had the car seat installed and used the recommended seat belt method. Using the seatbelt was even less intimidating than the lower anchors because of the click tight technology. One of the biggest draws of this car seat was the promise of front to back space saving. It is a much better fit than our maxi-cosi infant car seat. Thankful it still seems very roomy for the baby. The only negative I ran into is that we are using this for our 40 percentile 5 month old and I wasn’t sure if the harness pads needed to be used for her. (They don’t). After some searching and googling I was able to find the answer.
