Britax Willow S Infant Car Seat with Alpine Base

This is my third Britax car seat, and it feels like a miss to me. My previous experiences with Britax have been excellent - high quality, long lasting, etc. But this latest car seat feels cheap. The buttons don’t work well - it’s tough to get the seat unattached from the base, or to adjust the carry handle. The infant inserts feel thinner and don’t stay in place well. Just not the quality I expected from Britax.

I bought this car seat and I hate it! It does not have enough head support for infants and it gets stuck in the base. I have two bases and it gets stuck in both of them. Not worth the money 10/10 do not recommend

Medium weight car seat. My newborn loves it. Very easy install, especially if changing car seats out of multiple vehicles is apart of your routine. Very soft and plush materials, and easy to wash in washer/ dryer. A well-thought carrier.

He's thankful at how much easier is it to set up in the car compared to other car seats he's owned. Baby G sits very securely and looks very comfy and cute while doing it! Overall he would recommend this car seat to other parents.

I hate the base for this car seat. It’s such a pita to get the car seat out of it. Half the time I have to leave seat in it cuz it won’t come out. I miss the old Britax infant seats. They need to figure out how to fix this issue

We have twins so we got these seats cause the car seat tech recommended them cause we could put them side by side in our car,so my wife could sit in the back behind the passenger seat. No complaints about the seat, and would definitely buy it again.

I had a Britax infant seat with my son and loved it, so we decided to buy the Willow SC for our daughter. Big mistake. The ClickTight is such that if it’s very tight, you cannot get the seat to click in and out of the base. If you loosen it so that the seat easily snaps into the base, there is too much movement. This makes it very hard to get a snug, but usable install. The seat straps are very tight and difficult to pull and adjust. The canopy is just okay, you can’t pull it all the way down without it popping off. My baby *hates* this car seat without the infant insert, which she has outgrown. The chest clips rotates when she’s safely strapped in and it digs into her chest. She screams in this seat. On the plus side, my baby was a preemie and she easily passed the car seat test with good positioning in this seat with the infant insert. The fabric is nice, easy to remove, and easy to wash. The negatives outway the positives so much that we’re thinking about ditching the entire (expensive) travel system in favor of trying something else.

This is my second Britax infant seat and I have been disappointed in this one. I had to get a new one for my new infant because the old one I had was expired. This car seat moves quite a bit while in the base. I e-mailed a video to the manufacturer and they said the movement is normal, but I still don't feel great about it. Also, it tends to get stuck when trying to remove from the base. The manufacturer also gave me tips to avoid this issue, which helps some but not every time. I didn't have any of these issues with an older version of a Britax car seat. Overall this car seat feels like it is made cheaper and not as sturdy as the older Britax car seat I had.

The car seat always gets stuck to the base and doesn’t come off easily. Recently the seat decided not to come off the base and stuck, no matter what I did it doesn’t come off. Finally I gave up and decided to use a pry arm to get it out. Very disappointed cause I only used it since July 21, 2024 and now it is August 27th, so only used for 5 weeks.

I had Britax 11 years ago with my son and now again with my newest baby who was born in September 2023. The plastic clip on the carrier jammed in the stroller and broke off leaving one side unable to snap properly into the base or stroller.

The carseat cover is always getting stuck pulling it down and it isn't long enough. The car seat itself gets stuck when trying to take it out of the base. The stroller is very hard to fold and the car seat is wobbly when snapping into the stroller. Waste of money, do not recommend

The connector/latch where this hooks to the stroller broke after 7 months. Target will not take it back even though this is obviously a huge safety concern. Would never purchase Britax products again, the car seat and stroller that goes with it are very low quality.

I love this carseat so much.. the texture is so soft. i had a britax carseat with my first daughter and made sure to come back and try the britax willow with my second daughter. The color is everything as well and the base unlocks easily with the push of a button, rather than other carseats being jammed. Even the carseat strap covers are soft as ever
