Q: I wonder when this seat is anchored in if it has play when sitting on the seat. Or if it anchors down tight and doesn’t move around at all. Just worried with those anchors that the back part of the car seat will move around?

A: This is a great question! Movement on the Mint Latch infant car seat is normal. The lower anchor points in cars vary from car to car (how far apart they are, how deep they are in the seat, etc.). When you attach the Mint Latch infant car seat, you should hear 2 clicks, and the indicator on the anchors will turn from red to green, indicating it is attached. As long as the seat is attached, movement up & down, or left & right is normal. If you have any concerns, please reach out to Joie customer service, and they can connect you to a Child Passenger Safety Technician.

Not good at all
Bought this car seat for my baby she hasn’t even had it for 6 months and I can use it anymore a complete waist of money. Do not buy if you’re planning on having a good car seat you won’t make it 5 months with it. Very annoyed and frustrated with this product

One of the best car seats for infants I would recommend to everyone!
At first I wasn’t sure about this car seat, I loved everything advertised but since it was still a new product & not too many reviews I was unsure about how it would hold up. Here is my review, my daughter just turned 10 months, and we’ve used it daily ever since she was born. It took some getting used to putting it in the car with the adapters but became so quick and easy now being baseless, all our friends are amazed at how that works. Easy to switch to another vehicle without the use of a seat belt. It even clicks into a shopping cart basket not to slide around when at the grocery store. The only signs of use are at the head rest, a little wear on the sticker, and little fabric fuzz, but after washing it in the washing machine already up to 5 times, I’d say it’s in fresh shape. ☺️ The extended canopy is really great, especially when the days are cold and windy, keeps her nice and warm inside. The car seat itself is very very light in my opinion, our 3 year old brings it to us without having to drag it. Compared to other car seats like Nuna I’d say this one is definitely more laid back when it’s clicked into the stroller, I’ve seen others and looks like the baby is sitting up too much but this one lets her sleep well without her head falling at all. Anyone having a baby and looking into this car seat, I would definitely recommend and I am in no way getting paid or sponsored or whatever for this, I just love reading honest reviews before purchases and thought I would include mine :)

I am disappointed in the quality of this seat. We’ve used it for 5 months and the cloth has worn a hole where my daughter’s feet are. I have a Graco seat hold up through over two years of use between my two sons. I reached out to the company and their only solution was to buy a new cover at my own expense.

Easy Install & Lightweight
Very lightweight and simple install that takes seconds. My baby has looked consistently comfortable and secure in it so far from 8lbs to now 13lbs. The canopy goes down very far, so it’s easy to hide him from oversteppers in the stores during flu/RSV season.

Best Car Seat EVER
We LOVE this car seat!! It is so light, making it so much easier to carry baby and my back doesn’t hurt afterwards. The mint latch is so handy, since you don’t have to switch a car seat base between vehicles. The car seat was so easy to figure out and baby fits so comfortably in the seat. I have recommended this to everyone and they all agree this is the best car seat you can buy - and honestly the best price too!!

Amazing Carseat!
As a first time mom i did so much research on what car seat to get and i always went back to this one! Amazing quality and i love the baseless feature. Evergreen not green at all
Great car seat and easy to install but the evergreen color is 100% not green at all, definitely looks gray and I don’t even see any hint of green on it. Disappointed in the color because I was looking forward to the green like it’s pictured but if you buy it don’t expect a green car seat lol.

We are having twins and having baseless infant car seats with its own latch system is such a big help for parents especially from moving from one car to another. Not only that, the cushion for the insert is superb! I'm not sure if they mentioned it on the description but the infant insert has a foam insert within it for preterm or small babies to make more comfortable for them. Great job on that Joie! We are so excited to start our new journey with the twins and you will be part of it.

I absolutely love the ease of these baseless car seats as a twin mom. However, my biggest problem was finding the right stroller. I ended up purchasing the Mockingbird stroller with the Nuna Pipa RX adapters. I had to play around with the position of the adapters to find the right match for each car seat and then numbered them. Dont make the same mistake I made and waste your money on the Joie adapters as they only work WITHOUT the top and bottom adapters. Hope this helps a fellow twin mom!

So convenient!
We have a lot of people that will be needing to put the carset in their car for childcare and pickups, so I'm excited about the baseless feature. It is easy to install and take out of the car, it even comes with guide clips to make sure the latch easy. We got the Ginger stroller as well that comes with car seat adaptors to attatch the car seat to the stroller. It is not the lightest carseat but is still very managable. I got it during the sale and used the car seat coupoon so the set was a STEAL!

Almost like a Nuna
Just received my joie mint latch today, baby due in March. Honestly love it! Definitely looks like a Nuna car seat, metal handle, newborn padding, It extends so it protects them more; husband is definitely a fan lol. Can’t wait to use it!

I’m a mom of 3, and I frequently have extra messengers in my Chevy traverse, and moving car seats is stressful. So I bought this one and it is an absolute game-changer. It takes a literal second to click it into place, anywhere I need to put it in my car. I was on the fence about this purchase until it got here and I am thrilled with this. Brilliant. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like that this car seat is light weight and does not require a base. It was easy to install and use with our newborn. I do thing the release button to adjust the straps was a bit deep in the seat and hard for me to reach. I also don’t like that it doesn’t come with adapters for common car seats. We have a Bob stroller for jogging/running and this car seat is not compatible with our stroller. I would suggest getting a joie stroller if you want this car seat.

We were excited to find out this new style of car seat doesn’t need a base , intergrated latch connectors click onto my cars anchor points , it’s so quick and so easy . It’s perfect for us cuz we can leave this extra one for the grandparents when they watch the baby , so convenience for them , installing and taking it out is just a click. The car seat has an extendable canopy that protects my kid from the sun or wind . The inserts on the traps are very soft and can be removed . It’s lightweight and so easy for us to carry my baby around . The car seat holds baby from 4-30lb . The handle has a nice leather cover for better grip. Highly recommend for new parents .
