Q: Does using this leave a mark like a bruise or circle for a long period of time after?

A: You have complete control over the amount of suction used. If marks/bruises are being left, too much suction/duration was used on that particular bite. Some areas have thinner skin, so they require less suction (how high you pull up on the handles) and duration (how long you hold in place). On more sensitive areas or if using on children, try using the tool at half strength or less for 5-10 seconds to start. You can always increase the strength/duration or repeat the process to achieve desired results. Less is more until you are familiar with the tool.

A: The sooner you get to the bite the better the performance of the product. The longer the mosquito saliva stays under your skin the more the body will react. If it takes a couple of hours to get to the bite, you will still get relief from the itching, but the swelling will take longer to go down since your body is already reacting

I find this helps! It doesn’t completely stop itching but, makes it way less inflamed and itchy for me and my kid. We attract them like magnets, even with bug spray 😫 so this is just another tool for us! Recommend for how easy, cheap and easy to travel with!

Love this!
Purchased this due to my daughter and I being a magnet for mosquitoes. It works! I will say the sooner you can use it after a bite the better. It doesn’t help if the bite was from days ago. It helps draw the itchy they inject into you when they bite to the surface. Still using ours years later!!

It didn’t help with the itching with mosquito bites at all and I read the directions and did everything it told me to do. I only used it on mosquito bites so I don’t know how well it works for other bits. I would not buy again

Anyone that gave this a bad review clearly doesn't understand this product
I saw this product on Shark Tank years ago and when my son started going to camp I sent one with him. Mosquitoes love him to the point where he starts reacting worse over time. When he came home from camp he said not only did it help him but all his friends wanted to use it all the time. It’s not supposed to completely eliminate the bite because I don’t really think that’s possible. It’s supposed to suck out the saliva or venom or whatever it was that you were bitten by so the bite isn’t as bad as it could be. I personally used it and had a bite almost completely disappear and I’ve used it where it helped with the bite but it was still there but it didn’t itch anymore. It’s also good for things like bee stings or wasp stings or splinters or even spider bites. I don’t know what’s wrong with all these people that say it doesn’t work it’s literally a suction! It’s not a magic wand it just sucks out the bad stuff. Now when I send my son to camp I have to send him with at least two: one that he will use in front of people and share with his friends and a secret one that he never shows anyone because one year a friend of his broke it. Also there are two sides at the end… you can have the suction be as wide as the whole device or you can flip the piece over and the suction is a really small circle depending on what you need. Anyone who gave this a bad review is an idiot. (I’m not sure about the one who got cellulitis that’s something else to me ) The concept is very simple and basic it does exactly what it was designed to do. The price is good because you can have it for a long time (years) so you definitely get your moneys worth.

Worth it for me!
I recently got a few wasp stings/bites and they were driving me crazy with the itching. I tried creams with zero relief before deciding to get one of these as a last resort. It worked perfectly and immediately stopped the itching! Big fan!!

Beware!
Made the bite worse! The bite became more swollen and spread. Ended up in the ER with severe cellulitis needing IV antibiotics. Be careful!! It’s safer to leave the bite alone and apply creams.
