Bugaboo Giraffe Baby Pillow Set High Chair Cushions

I love this high chair! We were lucky to receive it through Stellar Testing panel, and I wish I would have bought this when my daughter was born because it’s an amazing chair. With the newborn attachment, it truly is usable from birth. It’s a great size for our kitchen, it’s easy to get my daughter in and out, and my favorite feature by far is the single hand removal of the tray. It also fits in the dishwasher, making this my favorite high chair for easy clean up purposes! Adjustment is easy and feels secure, although it does require both hands. I would highly recommend this high chair for the quality, style, and ease of use!

Sharing meals at our family table is extremely important to us. We sit down together for at least two meals a day, so having a high chair that fits seamlessly into our life really matters. We loved the Bugaboo Giraffe High Chair for its ease of assembly, beautiful design, quality materials, and dynamic functionality. Our five-month-old son is learning to sit up on his own and will soon be trying his first foods. The supportive Bugaboo Giraffe Baby Pillow Set helps our 16-pound boy sit more comfortably and securely in the high chair. He has loved being in the Newborn Chair, and now that he’s become so comfortable in this spot, my husband and I are able to enjoy mealtime together without a grumpy or fussy baby. He loves being at the table with us, thanks to this Bugaboo High Chair system. The cushions are simple to attach and easy to remove for cleaning. The fabric is velvety soft, wipes clean easily, and dries quickly. So far, we’ve only had to clean up yogurt, so we’ll see how well it holds up against other foods over time. Natural and organic materials are very important to me, and I don’t love that the cushions are made of polyester with a polyurethane coating. I would not purchase them on my own for that reason and would love to see Bugaboo release another option, perhaps kapok-filled with a waxed canvas fabric. It also feels like these cushions should be included with the Bugaboo Giraffe High Chair, though I can understand that if someone is purchasing for an older child, they might not need them. Overall, the cushions are essential for my five-month-old to fit comfortably and securely in the high chair, so we will continue to use them. However, I would prefer a cushion made of natural materials to be included with the Bugaboo Giraffe High Chair package or offered in a “Transitional Set” along with the Newborn Chair.

The only downside is that food can get stuck in the seams, so it requires more frequent washing than I expected. Still, it’s a helpful accessory if you want added comfort and support for your little one in the chair.

It's extremely easy to fit into the high chair and adds a bit of extra comfort for my baby so she can withstand being in the high chair longer. I have not tried to clean it besides wiping it down, but honestly it does look to be machine washable. I'm not stressed about food getting on it because it looks easy to clean and well-made. It might take away a small amount of space from inside the highchair, but I was able to fit both my 6 month and 21 month old babies into the highchair with the cushion set installed. They weigh 15lbs and 24lbs. I loved the color which is a dark gray on the black high chair as well. I would definitely recommend adding this set to the base highchair!

I’d give this baby cushion set a solid 9 out of 10 stars! It’s sleek, soft, and definitely feels high-quality. It’s super easy to pop onto the seat and back, giving my little guy some extra comfort at mealtime. The one star I’d knock off is for the fabric. While it looks and feels nice, at our very first meal my baby dropped a strawberry, and it stained right away. I tossed it in the wash and air-dried it, and while the stain faded, it never fully came out (pictures attached of before and after washing). The fact that it’s washable is great, but realistically it’s tough to wash and airdry after every meal, so a more stain-resistant fabric would be a big plus. I received this product to test through the Stellar Product Testing Panel, and honestly, I’d still buy it again—but next time I’d probably go with a darker color. One last note: the giraffe baby seat is already a bit small, so adding extra padding makes it feel a little more cramped for my guy. Not a deal breaker, but it does shorten how long we’ll get use out of it.

I love the neutral color and how it goes so well with the rest of the high chair. I’m sure my baby’s comfortable in it because he used to whine to get out of other high chairs in the past but he doesn’t complain in this one. It takes a bit of effort to get the seat on but I don’t mind it because I’d rather have my baby sit on the cushion than the hard wooden seat. The cushions are washable, which makes it super easy for me to clean! I can easily wipe up the food on the cushion and then throw it later in the wash to get any stains out.
