I’m happy with the product, but I wish the magnets connected at the top so the transparent cover doesnt dangle in the baby’s face. It falls down when I tuck them in (gets annoying sometimes).

I received this for my baby shower. It looks and feels like it's high quality. I haven't had my baby yet, so I haven't used it with my baby yet. The reason I gave four stars is that the canopy/privacy shield attaches via magnets, which can be difficult to attach because the magnets have to line up perfectly for the canopy to stay in place. It feels like the canopy has to stretch to get the magnets to line up perfectly, and I worry that if I hit it accidentally, the canopy will come undone. I would prefer buttons or some other way to fasten the canopy.

This car seat is great. This car seat feels like it was made with quality products and able to also keep my baby safe. It’s great from birth until 30 pounds. This car seat is extremely light compared to other infant car seats which is very appreciated with my chunky baby. Installing the base was so simple and easy. I love the steel bar that adds an extra safety measure in the base and keeping baby safe. Placing the car seat into the bugaboo stroller was seamless and easy. I have always loved Nuna carseats and I love Bugaboo so this collab is dreamy! I was so eager to tear open the box when this carseat arrived and it definitely did not disappoint. It has a beautiful sleek design and premium comfort for baby. On top of that it is very light and easy to carry around. My favorite part of this carseat is how safe it is. Not only is the carseat designed with as much safety for baby as possibly but the base is next level; my husband and I laughed that it was the heaviest thing in the box! The LATCH system made installation a breeze and happy that my baby is riding around in comfort and safety. The carseat is also made with top quality materials, using nothing that could harm baby, and this also gave me piece of mind as that is important to me. Attaching this carseat to our Bugaboo stroller is so easy for when we're out and about. All you have to do is install the carseat adapters and then just clip the carseat in. I knew I’d love this car seat as soon as I got a good look of it out of the box…and it has proved me right. It’s amazing. The padding is perfect and it’s so comfortable for my baby. She was immediately happy in it and it fits her perfectly. The padding on the buckle and on the shoulders is the best I’ve ever seen. The shoulder pads are thicker than I’ve ever seen and it smooshes my babies cheeks a bit and makes her look like a Cabbage Patch doll but it makes her head not fall forward or to the side when she falls asleep and it’s brilliant! It was super easy to install, the base that extends to the floor makes it not wobble but is also not in the way of my other kids getting in or out of the car. I have a tall SUV and I love the way it so easily slips put of the base when I take it out. It’s sturdy and seems incredibly safe, and is also light. It I had to say something constructive, it would be that the handle is thin all the way down to where it hooks to the car seat where my other one got thicker, so a car seat toy didn’t drag on the floor when thrown off to the side. Not a deal breaker and I still prefer this one, just can’t put a car seat toy around the handle. I love this car seat in conjunction with the bugaboo kangaroo stroller. Overall, it’s the best car (and travel system) seat I’ve had and I’m on kid number 4. I received this car seat to test from the Stellar Product Testing Panel, and have since purchased the toddler seat to attach to the stroller.

First impressions of the Turtle infant car seat is that it's a top of the line quality. The fabric is super soft, breathable and easy to clean. I really liked that it came with an infant insert for extra tiny babies. The seat itself is very lightweight which was helpful for me to actually carry my moose of a 4 month old. The base is heavy duty, easy to install and feels extremely sturdy with the stabilizer leg. The LATCH connectors were a breeze to use and I liked that they tucked away when moving from vehicle to vehicle. My husband raved about all the safety features of this car seat and base, which gave me peace of mind. We got the Bugaboo kangaroo stroller which comes with an adapter for this infant seat. The transition from car to stroller couldn't be easier but does come with a slight learning curve to get it on and off with two hands. The only thing we thought this seat was missing was a dedicated place to put the magnets on the wind screen when not in use or a way to take them off. They actually smacked our baby in the face a few times when moving the shade up and down. The lightweight design, at just 8.8 lbs, was a significant advantage, making it much easier to carry and maneuver compared to heavier car seats I’ve used. Installing the car seat base was straightforward and hassle-free. Both the LATCH and vehicle belt installation options felt secure and intuitive, and the steel-enforced base with its anti-rebound panel added an extra layer of safety that gave me peace of mind. The car seat’s high safety ratings and the thoughtful inclusion of these features reassured me that my baby was well-protected on every trip. One of the standout features for me was how seamless it was to transition the car seat from the car to the stroller. The effortless connection to my Bugaboo stroller made outings much more convenient, saving time and eliminating the need to disturb my baby. However, despite these strengths, the car seat’s size limitations are worth noting. It supports a maximum weight of 30 lbs and a height of 30 inches, which is not ideal for larger or faster-growing babies. My 8-month-old, who is in the 93rd percentile for height, is already close to outgrowing it, which is sooner than I had hoped. While this means we will need to purchase another car seat earlier than expected, I still feel that the Bugaboo Turtle Air Shield is an excellent investment for its safety, comfort, and ease of use during the first 14ish months of a baby’s life.

Upon opening the bugaboo turtle air shield car seat I was immediately impressed with the quality of the seat. You can just tell this is made with high quality material and it is extremely comfortable! This car seat is so eye catching and beautiful I had to immediately install it in the car, being only SEVEN pounds is such a perk of this infant seat it truly is light as a feather and so easy to carry. Installing the base is so seamless with its rigid latch it took only a couple seconds to get a perfect tight install. Two little clicks and this seat was ready to go! Transferring from car to stroller is effortless and as a mom to five little ones it is essential to make sure my kiddos are as safe as possible so the safety ratings give such peace of mind knowing my baby is secure in this seat!

With a new infant, I knew I could trust the Turtle Air Shield to be a stylish, comfortable, and more importantly, safe carseat. I own multiple Bugaboo and Nuna products, and they rarely disappoint. Through research, I know that this carseat has a high safety rating. According to safety tests, this design does especially well in crash tests due to the reinforced steel interior structure and the anti-rebound panel (ARP). Not all infant carseats come standard with an ARP, so it was nice to have that extra peace of mind. I thought maybe with the added ARP on the base, it might be a tight fit in my car, but I didn't find that to be the case. I love that I'm able to use this carseat with the LATCH system, which is what I'm used to, but I also have the option to secure the seat alone with a seat belt as well. The installation was very straightforward. The instructions and markings on the base make it very clear when it's installed correctly, so I feel confident it will be safe. This may be the lightest carseat I've ever owned. The light weight and easy grip made moving it in and out of my SUV and into the house or onto the stroller a breeze. It pairs so nicely with the Bugaboo Kangaroo Stroller we have, but it's also capable of pairing with several other Bugaboo strollers too. It's nice the adaptor is already incurred shut the stroller that allows the infant carseat to clip right in. The sleek look of the turtle air shield and quality merino-wool fabric really kicks this carseat up a notch. My husband and I also appreciated that the fabric was Oeka-Tex certified. The headrest and recline were very easily adjustable, which made for a very comfortable ride for baby. I like that the canopy is able to be pulled down so far. It helps in the car to keep the sun out, and also, when we're out in public, it seems to do a better job of discouraging people from trying to peek or touch the baby. I just wish there was an easier way to keep the canopy up when we pull it back besides tucking it inside the folds. Or maybe there is some trick to it that I missed. That's my only minor complaint. This plush carseat is the best option for my newborn. Choosing this carseat for my baby was a no brainer because of the high saftey rating this car seat has, plus the steel enforced base makes it more secure and safe. The quality is unmatched, the canopy is large and keeps sun out. The leather cover on the carrying handle is very comfortable to hold. Installation is a breeze in the car with attachments. A major feature is it attaches seamlessly to my bugaboo kangaroo making it the best travel system. Overall I am very happy with this car seat. The padding is very comfortable and adjustable based on different stages. It comes with an infant insert that is perfect for the newborn stage and then you can take it out once your baby gets older. The design is very sleek and modern, but is also very easy to wipe clean. It is very lightweight which I love, but the handle does seem pretty thin and does not have much padding which can make your arm sore after holding for awhile. Installing the car seat was the easiest I have ever experienced of all previous car seats and love that it has the option of anti-rebound panel. It seems very secure and gives me peace of mind when driving with my baby. It is also very easy to add to compatible strollers as it has adapters that just snap in place and then you can just place the car seat in. Very simple to take in and out which makes traveling a breeze. Overall a great car seat with my only complaint being an uncomfortable handle for carrying. I would definitely recommend.

The Bugaboo Turtle Air Shield by Nuna carseat has been fantastic for my 5 month old baby. It was easy to install with the latch into our SUV and the lightweight design made lifting it up into our large SUV very easy. As my baby is getting bigger, I am so happy to have such a light car seat. It clicks nicely into the bugaboo stroller to transfer a sleeping baby from the car into the store. The added safety features make this carseat stand out compared to others. Having both the Bugaboo and Nuna names reassures me of a quality product. I received this product to review through stellar product testing panel. This car seat was very obviously high quality and sleek looking, from the easy clips to the materials and padding. The safety ratings and steel enforced base made me feel extremely comfortable driving around with my precious cargo! The transition from car to the bugaboo stroller was so, so easy. Really a game changer for me to not have to take baby out of the car seat and into a different stroller or into a carrier on me.

I love this car seat! I feel that my baby is totally safe in it and comfortable. We have only used position 3 so far. It hooks in easily to my stroller, and it was easy to install in my car (which is a notoriously difficult car for car seat installations). I love that the car seat buckles can stick to the magnets on the side of the seat so I can set my baby in the car seat without struggling to dig for the straps. I would give the car seat 5 stars, except the shade cover has been a hassle. The extra shaded portion slips from the top and dangles in my baby’s face, and one of the hooks that holds it in place slips out. I was so excited to try this car seat, as a mom of four, I love trying new products and baby products especially. There are so many things I love about the car seat. The first thing I noticed was how light weight, but durable this car seat felt, the metal handle with leather was such a nice touch and one I hadn’t seen before, the canopy is large and the extended part is secured by magnets (love that!) and the base reclines 4 positions. My baby is 7 months so I started setting it up by removing the newborn insert and adjusted the harness, which I was surprised to find I had to rethread, it was easy enough though, I would’ve just liked to see a no rethread. I love the headrest and that it’s shock absorbing, my baby really seems comfortable when he’s in the car seat. Installation with the LATCH system was quick and easy and I was confident in knowing that it was installed safely with the use of the stability leg and safety indicators. One gripe I do have is getting the car seat in and out of the base, the lever is located on the base and I had a difficult time releasing the latch and lifting the car seat up at the same time (I am getting better though as time goes on). It’s also a little difficult to get in and out of the stroller (Bugaboo Dragonfly), but upon watching some videos, that could just be that it’s different than what I’m used to. Pros: extremely lightweight, installation leg, large canopy with peek-a-boo window, 4 position recline, metal and leather handle, magnets to hold harness making it easy to get my baby in quickly, reclining base Cons: has a rethread harness, awkward to take out of base Overall, this is an amazing car seat that I have already recommended to expecting parents.

Comfortable seat, fabrics are plush and breathable. I saw it in person at another store and it is very easy to install in the car. The base also has buttons you press and slide it recline baby in the best position for their weight/age as they grow. quality is top notch, durable… all the things you expect with bugaboo. Tested it attached to their new kangaroo stroller and will be adding both to my registry
