I have wavy hair and bought this product to enhance my waves when I let it air dry. I also have sensitive acne prone skin, and the seaweed in this product made me breakout with cysts wherever my hair touched my face. If you have sensitive skin, please be aware and careful! Apart from these issues, the cream smelled amazing, and did a decent job of what it was intended to, despite breaking me out and ruining my skin.

i LOVE this stuff! i always mix this with some sort of mousse and let my hair air dry in twists/braids. i always end up with natural looking waves (my hair is super pin straight!!) great hold and gives my hair some sort of oomph

As someone who has struggled with crazy combo hair, this product has been amazing for me! I have an oily scalp that also gets pretty caked up with dandruff as well as very dry ends. Ive learned that my oily dandruff stems from my scalp trying to produce moisture for my hair which leads to the overproduction. This cream is so lightweight, a little goes a long way, it smells great and it hydrates so well!

I really like this but use it pretty sparingly. I have wavy hair and it makes it so that my hair never feels dry or gets out of control feeling. it feels weightless and I don't notice it add any texture to my hair other than smoothing frizz. I'm pretty minimalist when it comes to products but this is one that I'd definitely buy again when I run out.

I dont know but im doing wrong but this does not work for me at all. For reference I have medium coarseness, medium thickness, 1C-2A super slightly wavy hair that gets frizzy when I air dry it/in the summer. I got this to help control my frizz and all it has done is make my hair more tangly and weigh it down. It might even make my frizz worse i cant tell. I've experimented with amounts, with applying it just to my ends vs my whole head, I have no idea what im doing wrong but it does not work for me unfortunately. Glad I just got the sample size…

Not a fan. My hair is thick, coarse, and naturally wavy. It's very hard to manage so I have to be picky with what I put on it; this was not for my hair. It made my hair feel sticky, it dried like straw, and didn't do anything to provide softness and to make it manageable. In fact, I'm still trying to recover my hair from how it added to the coarseness. I'm sure it works for other people which is great, it just didn't work for me. I'm not sad I tried it, but it's not worth the money.
Go for the original air dry cream instead

I've been using the original fine air dry cream from this brand for yearsss and love it for its lightweight moisture. This version though, makes my hair snarl easily and leaves ends feeling dry. The results remind me of a sea salt texturizer rather than a smoothing cream. It gives me weird dry, heavy, poofy, snarly, ends. It's not as bad if you use only the tiniest bit of product, but it's still not doing anything good for me. Was very disappointed. On a brighter note, the scent is good---kind of smells like lemongrass. Go for the original, skip this one.

I have use Aveda for years. Though curly/coarse/wavy I have actually used the brilliance line for product. I saw this product arrive from B&B and bought the trial (LOVE the sample size option) and this product has completely moved me on from my +18 year commitment with the above brand. Add the product, T shirt method for this curly girl for a bit of time and then let dry for just fabulous waves. Silky, yet waved out to perfection! My new fave!

I was so excited for this product but it left me disappointed. For reference, I have fine, thin hair that is very dry. It's always hard finding a leave-in that works and doesn't wear my hair down. This product while it didn't weight my hair down, it did nothing for detangling, didn't add shine and didn't help with frizz. It kind of left my hair dull and flat. Worst yet is it left a texture on my hair that I wasn't a fan of.

When I air dry my hair, which is fine, i have always had issues with frizziness. When i apply this cream, though, my hair dries smoothly! And it enhances fhe natural wave in my hair. Great for beach days! Will definitley buy again!
