Description
Bumkins Chewtensils® are intended for Stage 1 of baby-led weaning—for babies beginning to practice feeding themselves by holding utensils. The food-safe silicone is safe for teething babies. The fork and spoon are made from soft, textured silicone that’s easy to grip and gentle on tender gums, with bendable heads for safety. The back of the spoon head has sensory bumps to stimulate gums. Weighted, textured handles allow little ones to hold while they begin to practice eating by themselves. Bumkins Chewtensils are best for practicing dipping and scooping, not yet piercing solid foods.

Love thr design
I love these easy to hold utensils. My 9 month old immediately knew what to do with the spoon. She fed herself yogurt last night and I’m just so impressed with the design for ease of holding, manipulating to get into the mouth and the shape for eating from. I’ll be ordering more!

Game changer
This has been a game changer. I had some other baby spoons but they were so long and now that I have this set I wish I had it from the beginning.

Tried. Failed. Next.
So They Are Great For Chewing On/teething. Self Feeding = Fail. You Can't Actually Pick Anything Up With The Fork. The Spoon Is A Little Thick So Once They Have Something On It, Getting It In The Mouth With Their Food Doesn't Fit.

Messy
I was excited for these, but my little one doesn’t like them because she can’t figure out how to hold it. It also makes a mess when you try to scoop anything out of the baby food containers unless you just opened it.

Liked: that they are soft so it doesn’t make my grandson choke. Disliked: the handles are a little hard for him to hold on to. Maybe if they were wider and a little longer he might get a better grip on it.

My 8 month old loves these! She mainly still chews on them but she refuses to eat purées so she only eats what we eat and this way she has silverware just like us, which she loves!

Perfect for little hands
My baby LOVES using these! He played with them before he was ready to even eat food and now that he is 6months old he uses them to feed himself. Well worth the money! Would buy again.

My baby loves these! They are soft and easy to hold, and my 7 month old baby feeds himself (with help) gladly with these. He also likes to use the spoon to chew on as a teether in general.
