I loved the look and style of this bunk but was nervous about trying without any reviews. I decided to take a chance, and i am SO glad i did. This was the easiest bed to set up. I did it by myself--it took atoun 3 hours but i took ny time, took breaks, and like i said, it only took that long because i built it all by myself lol. I am not an expert builder either—I am a 55yo single mom! The directions were easy to follow, everything went together as it should with no missing parts or issues. I had my daughter and her friend help me set the top bed on top of the bottom bed but that was also easy, just needed extra folks to maneuver it. Once I got everything tightened it hardly shook at all. I climbed on top to test and I’m 170lbs. The only thing I didn’t like was the ladder. It’s a bunk ladder of course and normally they aren’t very comfortable on the feet to begin with! Plus I felt like I was pulling too much on the bed to get up to the top, which made the bed shake more, so I bought a different ladder that reached the floor and hooked onto the side where the existing ladder is—fixed that problem! My twins LOVE their beds—they are 17, 5’7 and weight around 170lbs and it’s perfect for them. Highly recommend!!!
