Perfectly fine when your lips aren't chapped; it's a little moisturizing with a slight tingle... however, when used on chapped lips, the peppermint causes so much pain, it was unbearable.

I have used this product for years and use to love it. Whatever changes have been made to the formula are horrible. It leaves my lips chapped and irritated now. I thought I just had a bad batch, and because I use to love this product so much, I gave it two more chances and kept buying. Still horrible!

I like the tingly feel of the pepperment. I dislike that chapstick is addicting. Have to apply often to remain comfortable. Very pricey. Had to stop using because of pepperment and rosemary oils because I'm pregnant.

I too have used Burt’s bees for years!! I loved the peppermint smell and tingle!! But the last time I used it my lips reacted in a negative way. They were red, itchy and swollen! I have had to go to the doctors twice and now have discontinued use of this product. Not sure what is diff but something definitely is.

BB Vitamin E & Peppermint - my favorite and only lip balm for at least 20-30 years. Other's don't work for me. Stays on longer and is soothing to my lips. Staying on top of application in my dry Colorado climate is key. I have a lip balm in every room of my home.

I'm from Nepal and the winters here are dry. I literally special order my Burt's Bees from the states and they're worth every penny. Even though I have to pay double, I can't find anything that comes close to the Burt's Bees.
