I may have been lucky, but all the pieces came in pristine, which is more than I can say about the one I bought for my wife (different brand). However, the desk is very tedious and time consuming to put together. Result well worthh it though. The only thing I would criticize is they sent 2 tubes of glue but very few of the steps asked for glues on the dowels, and those dowels were halfway through the build after I used half of them. So, either the instructions are wrong or they sent too much glue. In the end, very happy with this purchase.

I wanted to down size and declutter. This desk is simple, sturdy with a traditiinal style. Its well made for the value. I wish the key board tray had a tilt ability, otherwise there's room for keyboard and mouse. My husband put it together. Took him 7 hours. The directions required using common sense. There was an extra piece he couldn't figure out where it goes. There were no screw holes. On desk that matched ones on extra piece. It appears it would go in corner under desk where two desk meet. It doesn't seem to jeopordize the stabiluty of desk. I would recommend this desk for home office.

I've tried to reach out multiple times to report the desk damaged upon arrival but continue to sit on hold for 20+ minutes each time and eventually have to hang up.
