My only minor idea for improvement is that it doesn't adjust low enough for ideal use next to a reading chair. I use it that way, and it works well enough, but if I could lower it six more inches it would be perfect. (It's maximum height is too great for my needs.) It will be easy enough to cut the tubing down, though.

Sits next to my husband's recliner as he reads or watches TV. It is easy to adjust away or towards, up/down, on/off. The perfect floor lamp for him....and the cat cannot knock it over!
