Q: Hello, has anyone used a split box spring set with the Caledonia metal bed frame? I see in the questions it is preferred to use one base. Is this just suggested or does the split set work as well? Thanks!

A: We highly recommend using a standard box spring, however if customer is purchasing the king size option and prefers using a split box spring the frame will also accommodate that option. Thank you!

A: It is not recommended to use a slit king box spring for the Caledonia Metal Bed because the overall dimensions [51.6 inches (H) x 57.5 inches (W) x 81.2 inches (D)] accommodate a full size. Thank you!

A: No, the opening for the Full Bed is 77.2 inches long x 54 inches wide, which is too small for a Queen size mattress

Does not fit adjustable base
This bed frame is beautiful! No issues noticed with paint or damage. The only reason I took a star away was because it could not be used with our adjustable bed frame. I was devastated. Returning it has been fast and easy. Our refund has already been approved (within 5 days of pick up). We love Target’s return/refund policy and guest services is always friendly and helpful.

Good buy
Was exactly what I ordered and a very stable bed frame. Easy to assemble too. It is a distressed piece in a true antique white color, not a solid white one.
