It would be delicious if not for disgusting stevia in it. It has real cane sugar, there is no need for stevia and its disgusting aftertaste

The old recipe was great. The new recipe is completely insipid. One of the worst product changes I have ever experienced. If they do not revert back to the old recipe. I will never buy it again
The new recipe is AWFUL! Bring back the old one!

I haven't bought this matcha in a while and decided to get some. I noticed the packaging wasn't as cute as it was before, but figured it would still taste good. I was so wrong. I can't even explain how bad it is now. It's so bland and flavorless except for the taste of stevia. I'm probably going to have to dump the bottle. It's undrinkable. PLEASE change it back.
Why in the world would you change the recipe?

I adored the original recipe. There was absolutely nothing wrong with it. I decided to try the new recipe thinking there’s no way they would make their matcha product worse. Super disappointed by the overwhelming taste of stevia that does not blend well at all flavor-wise with the matcha. In my opinion, this was just not the move, and I hope they bring the og recipe back.
Why the change? Not good!

I have been drinking the original Match almond latte for years. There is always a bottle in my fridge. But this new formula is not good. The stevia taste is too strong, why the switch from monk fruit? The matcha also leaves a flat, yucky taste in your mouth. As I often wonder with other formula changes, did anybody at the company taste it before they went into production??!! "If it ain't broke, don't fix it". Will NOT be buying again.
used to be good

This drink was one of my staples as a safe food. I noticed the new label, but not that it was a new recipe. If I had, I still would have bought it with much skepticism to at least try it. The new recipe is lackluster. There's less matcha flavor, less sweetness, and really just unappealing to me. Sad to say that my picky a$$ will not buy it again, and I don't know that I will finish the one that I have

I don't normally leave reviews but I felt morally obligated to because of how bad this drink was. I was so disappointed in how this tasted. It didn't even taste like matcha or tea, it just tested like sweat, plastic and despair. I normally love matcha and am not really that hard to please but this was just sad. I know this is a new recipe but they gotta reformulate again....
Dont buy it.

We used to drink a glass a day with the old formula. Now the Stevia overwhelms and the Matcha has a very weird, strong flavor. Why did you mess with such a good thing??? So sad!!

The photo showing here is the original which I would give great rating and recommend but the new version I wound never recommend so I'm unclear about how to rate it here. I loved the old recipe in green bottle and have been drinking it for some years. But I do not like the new one in the white bottle at all. It taste fake. I've been a Matcha drinker for years, making my own Latte from great quality powder and when I fond the original product I started drinking it instead. But I will not purchase the new higher caffeine-stevia version again. It very depressing. I hope this product fails and the original comes back.

Gave this a try even though I was thoroughly warned by the other reviews. Weird drink. Milk with a taste of Stevia.
Too much junk — emulsifiers — yuck

Why not just mix matcha, almond milk, and the few grams of sugar? It’s too thick, for one thing. Second, the emulsifiers are unnecessary and ruin the gut microbiome. Way to turn something healthy into ultra processed junk food.
NEW RECIPE IS NOT GOOD

My partner and I loved the previous formulation and usually buy multiple bottles at once to stock up, we noticed when purchasing this last time that the label and color of the bottle had changed. I looked up some reviews of this new recipe and we decided to give it a chance despite the many reviews complaining about the change to stevia, even bought two bottles because we usually love this product. You can definitely taste the stevia even though it’s still not very sweet, tastes more like straight matcha (very planty still) with the lingering taste of the stevia. The green bottle was also much more appealing from a marketing standpoint, just our opinion.
It’s alright

It’s not the best flavor in the world, compared to the last recipe. I do like that you can taste the matcha flavor more. However the old recipe was really good, it just had a more sweeter taste to it. If they could just make the new recipe taste more sweeter, then it would be perfect.
PLEASE BRING BACK THE OLD RECIPE💔

I used to make my own matcha until I found the Califia Matcha latte and it quickly became my daily matcha. It was so yummy and had a flavor I could never recreate. I tried the new recipe and I couldn’t believe how crazy the flavor change was. It tasted like trash💔 It’s so bitter and all I taste is stevia. I can’t even taste the matcha, just gross fake sugar stevia. It quite literally tastes like someone dumped a load of stevia in almond milk. There’s literally still cane sugar in the new recipe so what even is the point of adding stevia?? I also really liked how the original matcha had 35mg of caffeine. I don’t like consuming a ton of caffeine, hence why I and a lot of other people prefer matcha over coffee. Come to find out there’s a whopping 115 mg of caffeine per serving?!? Why and how does this matcha have the same amount of caffeine as coffee? please PLEASE bring back the old recipe!!! Or at least label this as “diet matcha latte” and continue selling the old version because the new recipe is nasty!!
