Calphalon Premier Stainless Steel Cookware Set

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great set of stainless steel cookware! Heavy and expensive feeling, feels great in the hand. Stainless steel is tricky to get to cook things properly without sticking to the pan, but that is all stainless steel and takes a learning curve to get the “nonstick” factor. I was personally excited about this set due to the deep pots that allow me to cook sauces and soups that don’t require so much “nonsticking,” and they do the job perfectly! I am very happy with my new set of pots.

I love how the edges of the pan go slightly out to make pouring liquids easy. The lids also fit seamlessly and are a nice addition for each size pot. My husband was even impressed by the look and quality of this set and he’s pretty picky when it comes to kitchenware.

The handles actually do stay cool too! They clean easily and food doesn’t seem to stick to them like most stainless steel sets. It’s definitely a wonderful set and my husband and I both love cooking with them.

I was able to cook some giant pork chops in the pan with ease. I love that it’s a 5 ply construction because it inducts heat better and will last a lot longer if I treat it well. This set looks so sleek and the stainless lids are very nice as well. Easy to clean if you know what you’re doing. Love them

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I almost screamed when I received this cookware set. 8 pieces of them and they were so durable, so nice, so spotless. I can’t ask for more! I love cooking and have always wanted to upgrade my pots and pans but did not find any good set that met my needs, and I found the dream set. The sizes were perfect too. I use these for boiling seafood, for stir frying my vegetables, for making my pastas. They could be stacked on top of each other for storage, and they were also microwave safe. Love it! I highly recommend

They look beautiful and perform even better. You can tell the quality by the weight of them as well, they’re sturdy but not too heavy that you can’t easily move around the kitchen or drain like some I’ve had. The stainless steel looks great and also is so easy to clean! I can’t recommend these enough. Thank you !

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] To test this product we made a meal that usual creates the biggest mess with our pans, pot stickers. The pans held up well! Even tho some of the juice charred down to the pan the cleanup was very easy and just by putting water into the pan while hot and lightly scrubbing everything came off very easily. We recently bought a very expensive skillet from another brand that cost as much as this entire set, and these way out perform that skillet. They’re VERY well built and sturdy, I feel like they will definitely last a lifetime. The sizes that came in the set are perfect for our family of 6. I really love that the lids are stainless instead of glass and the handles are connected to the lid in 2 places, so they aren’t as likely to come loose. My husband loves that the handles are solid and they don’t get water inside, unlike our other stainless steel skillet. It took a while to get the hang of it (and I’m still learning!), but we figured out that avocado oil is much better than olive oil when it comes to these. You also have to make sure the pan is completely heated up before you try to put anything in them. But even if something gets burned on, they come perfectly clean with some barkeepers friend. I would highly recommended this set to anyone in the market for high quality, non-toxic pans! I love them!

I have never purchased from Calphalon before, but I’ve always known them to be a reputable brand. I love the Calphalon 8-piece Premier Non-Toxic Stainless Steel set. The box in itself was appealing and was fun to unwrap. The 4 pots/pans and matching lids are going to come in handy. They are a beautiful mirrored silver and seem very durable. I like how deep the “spaghetti” pot is and the size of all of the included items. I found them easy to use and clean. However, I made scrambled eggs yesterday and they stuck to the bottom. So I would say they are not completely non-stick, but there are hacks for ensuring food doesn’t stick to pans. I like that it is made without PFA’s so I can trust using it for my kids’ food. Also, it states it has turbo temp technology which means it heats up faster than with other pans — that is great because I am constantly short on time. All in all, this is a very handsome looking set that will be incorporated into my routine right away. I would recommend this item and brand to others — it screams quality.

The handles are comfortable to hold and stay cool while cooking, which is a nice bonus. However, I was disappointed that the skillet turned black after the very first use — even though I cooked on medium heat and followed the cleaning instructions. It still cooks well, but the discoloration makes it look worn way too soon for such a high-quality brand. Despite this flaw, the set as a whole delivers impressive results in the kitchen. It’s versatile, dependable, and well-suited for everyday cooking. If Calphalon improved the finish to prevent discoloration, it would easily be a five-star set.
