That’s certainly not the experience we want for our customers. Warping can sometimes occur due to rapid temperature changes or uneven heating, especially with larger cookware that spans two burners. To help prevent this in the future, here are a few best practices for using and caring for your griddle: How to Avoid Warping: Preheat Gradually: Always allow the griddle to heat gradually by starting at a low to medium heat and increasing slowly. Avoid placing a cold pan on an already hot burner or using high heat right away, as thermal shock can cause warping. Use Even Heat Sources: This griddle is designed for use across two stovetop burners. Ensure both burners are at the same heat setting to promote even heating across the surface. Using mismatched temperatures can lead to uneven expansion and potential warping. Avoid Cold Water on a Hot Pan: Never run cold water over the hot griddle or submerge it in cold water immediately after use.
