I was eager to try this product out because my 4C hair likes honey. However, when I received this product, I noticed the packaging and formulation was different. I bought the product from other retailers in case I got a mix up. There are at least THREE different formulations of this product on the market and TWO different types of packaging. I reached out directly to Camille Rose customer service on 9/22. It’s 10/6 and I still haven’t heard anything back. They need to decrease their footprint if they lack the capacity to respond to CS inquiries. I decided to use the product and was underwhelmed. It also does get strangely warm when rubbed together... Almost the way I’d imagine lip plumper would feel, but on your fingers All I could do was laugh. Returning ASAP.

As soon as I added product to my hands and rubbed together my hands felt like they were on fire! It was alarming at first and by the time I realized how hot my hands felt I had applied a small portion to my hair which then made my scalp feel extremely hot. To be cautious I wound up rewashing my hair and rinsing the product out as I felt it could like to an allergic reaction. For me it wasn't worth using a product with questionable outcome for my hair and health.

I tried the original formula and my hair didn’t like it. Decided to give it another try and my hair stayed hydrated for days. Complete opposite of my first few impressions with the original formula. I just wish it came in larger bottles.
Changed formula. Honey is not the main ingrediant.

Camille Rose changed it's ingredients and honey is no longer the main ingredient as it was in the previous bottle design. It's now the 12th ingredient instead of the 3rd. Please correct what you are saying as it is misleading to say it's the "main" ingredient. Quality has changed. Makes hair soft but" wirey". I would rather pay more for the old recipe.

This is actually the first product where I’ve seen the results happen so instantly! You would think it would be sticky but it’s not at all in your hair! I like it because it last awhile and you don’t have to keep moisturizing your hair. I don’t have to add oil or use any other product with this one. It minimized my hair routine for the better (: The price is kind of crazy but it works and it’s worth it lol. Overall 10/10! It’s the only one I can rely on (:

I personally didn’t like this product in my hair; I have 2C wavy thick and dry hair (I am male and they keep my hair long on top) and it just made my hair really sticky and if anything, it increased the waviness in my hair that I did not like. I am currently using it as a conditioner after shampooing and then rinsing it out.

Read the one-star reviews. Your hair has to be severely damaged or genetically resistant for this product to not work. Too, I believe it depends on Hair Type/ Texture. I’m a 3a/ 2c, bleached and silk pressed, and this product alone reinvigorates my hair with a deep light moisture that soaks into my strands. My hair is extremely lustrous after bleaching it, and the sheen is remarkable. I haven’t ever had a product that works t h i s well on reviving my hair after processing it.

They changed the formula of this product and it is no longer good. This new formula dries out your hair so fast doesn’t leave your hair feeling hydrated nor does it promote the health of the hair. I would recommend going back to the previous formula ):

Ruined a great hair product with preservatives and alcohol. As one of their loyal customers im really disappointed. this is really the only product that works for my hair. Its a shame companies only care about minor profit margin instead of providing quality product for their consumers that have supported from Day 1.
