The Professional Flat Top Griddle 16" x 14" is the newest steel griddle to join our line of flat top griddles. Designed to fit 16" Cooking System stoves, this flat top steel griddle is the perfect option for when you're using your Professional Barbecue grill box (BB90L) but also want to use a professional steel griddle at the same time. Up until now you'd have to remove your grill box to use a SG90 or SG100 Professional Griddle. Now you can keep your grill box over the left two burners and place the SG14 over the right most burner. They're a match made in heaven. Grill and fry all at the same time.

Garbage Cast Iron
After using this griddle 6 times it warped and twisted so bad it is barely usable. And ive been using camp chef products for a couple decades, this is by far the only issue ive ever had

Hi 1111, Thank you for your review. We want to assure you that we truly are a company that stands behind their products and take pride in our customer support. Warping happens if there was an uneven heat across the griddle. This can happen a few different ways. One way would be to heat the griddle up to quickly, by turning the burners on above medium heat setting. We do suggest using the griddles on medium heat or lower and having all the burners on at the same time, and not only heating part of the griddle. Also, if your griddle is already hot and you place frozen or cold food only on one side of the griddle, it will shock the steel causing warping. To try and fix this, try this: Place two pots of water on top of the warped griddle. Turn the burners on medium heat and begin heating up the large pots of water. Once the water is almost boiling, turn the unit off and allow the griddle to cool (with the weight of the pots of water sitting on it.) I purchased this griddle to go on me 3 burner tundra pro. should i be seasoning the cast iron before cooking? It generates a ton of grease and i am wondering how to burn off the black residue on hot dogs and bacon and the like.

Garbage.
This griddle had an uneven coating out of the box two years ago. You can’t scour it clean at all or you see the coating coming off of the griddle. Now, after proper cleaning and storage ( and conditioning it), it rusted. Absolute garbage product.

Warp
Product came warp. Still used it because I was going to make fajitas for dinner. It performed well cooking dinner. Will continue using it to see if it can correct it self. If not I will be returning it before the returned date. For the money it should not be defective right out the box.

3 burner griddle
I have a big gas 3 burner camp stove which I use for canning. Needed a griddle so I looked at this accessory and decided to buy it after reading many happy customers review. Unfortunately when I received mine and put it on the camp stove it was not sitting properly. I remove the shelf on the stove thinking it was the problem, no it was not. I decided to lay it on my kitchen counter to see if it lay flat. It had about an inch and a half lift from the ground on one side. It came to me warp. I went online to see if this was an issue. Apparently some people experience the same problem. Continuing my search, I discover that the blackstone brand has the same issue, at least they say it can happen during the manufacturing process, and as you use it overtime (10) the warp should go away. I could not find anything for my camp chef griddle that will explain the warping. Looking at the product you ca visually see it is raised in the middle, which cause the unevenness at the side. It cooked ok but he warping cause it to tilt when cooking.

Well worth the money
Bought this to compliment the Big Gas III system, it's a heavy duty piece that heats up great + even- cook anything you want on it. Flat top perfection. I added the 14" edge drip cup (with a slight grinding modification to it) fits on now and is positioned under the drain hole, works as should. Easy to clean & store away.

No the best flat top grill. Hot and cold spots and It gets rusty no matter how you care for it.

Great addition to my Camp Chef Cook station.
I added this to my grilling system on my Camp Chef 3 burner stove. It completes the system with a gridle surface for those things that can slip through a conventional grilling surface. Hot cakes and looser items are a breeze with this item. The grease cup hanger is especially nice. Having a cup with it would have been even nicer.

I bought this to use on my double burner , thought it would be the right measurement, but I have to turn it sideways, with the drip part to the outside. Other than that it works great!!

So practical, I got two.
Cooked on the Explorer 2 burner some fried rice (veggies, pork chops, rice, etc.) on the griddle. Loved it so much, I got a second griddle just to have a wider cooking surface when feeding guess.
