The Hamilton Beach® Durathon® Reversible Ceramic Skillet has 180 sq. in. of nonstick cooking surface so you can sauté, stir fry, simmer or braise family meals in one pan. There's no need to dirty a second pan. The skillet is perfect for cooking everything from hearty breakfasts and dinners to keeping appetizers warm on the buffet while entertaining. The electric skillet's convenient reversible design lets you use the cord on either side, so there's no need to worry about the layout of your kitchen or the distance to an outlet. The 12" x 15" nonstick ceramic cooking surface is four times more durable than traditional nonstick, won’t crack or peel and is PFAS free. The skillet lifts off the base to make it easy to serve food straight from the pan at the table. For versatile cooking, the heat on the electric nonstick skillet is adjustable from 200° to 400°F. The description on this fry pan says 20.5' but reading about this the item says 15' reading the help line someone asked exactly what size it was. The answer was 20' so I bought it, because I wanted 20' but it is 15'. Very dissapointing and confusing! you need to change thee headline to 15' and your customer service department

The versatility of it makes a huge difference. Bought this for my daughter’s birthday to replace my older smaller one. I handed it down to her while learning how to cook certain foods in a controlled temperature instead on a stove top. It finally quit working. Definitely worth the money!

The lid does not fit properly and the edges of the skillet are so sharp I got a cut along my thumb as I wiped my hand along the edge. QC needs to do a better job prior to releasing this stuff to the consumer. I haven't cooked with it and won't be cause quite honestly I'm afraid of having my hands beat up during washing it...yes, the edges are that sharp. I've had a Kenmore skillet for years from KMart and it still works, was hoping to try something else. I'll keep my Kenmore.

I absolutely love this skillet. My old one finally gave up the ghost and I procrastinated on purchasing another one. But once I fired this pupppy up, I was a happy camper. It heats evenly, it cleans like a dream, and I love the ability to take it apart to clean it. If you're looking for an electric skillet, I suggest you try this one.

I feel like this is more of a 3.5 stars. I’m not sure if it’s a quality control issue or if I just got a defective or previously returned item. The lid is wonky and doesn’t fit properly on the skillet so there is a constant gap on either side because of this. The finish is rough and you have to be cautious washing the edges because you can slice yourself if you’re not trying to clean this thing. It cooks very well and washed nicely but the other issues with the lid and finish seem to be the real problem that I can see with mine anyway. Otherwise it would be a great lidded electric skillet. Maybe a little more attention to quality control at the warehouse? Either way I don’t currently have an oven in my living area so I have to make do and it works for the time being.

Truthfully, I was expecting some very flimsy and low quality. Reality was that I was totally wrong. Hamilton Skillet is very sturdy and high quality. Surface coating is superb and the heating element works fantastic, producing the right temperature in a very short time. Strongly recommend this product
