It comes with (and is designed for) a GU10 halogen bulb rated around 50 W. That’s the bulb you’d want to replace it with to match the original specs and ensure it heats properly and safely.

A: This candle lamp warmer is designed to gently heat wax candles from above, not to burn them with a flame. Because of that, it’s best used with regular jar candles or wax melts made for warmers. Using tea light candles in plastic holders isn’t recommended, since the heat from the lamp can cause the plastic to melt or warp, which can be a safety concern. For the safest results, stick with standard wax candles intended for warming.

Bought this item in APRIL of 2026, and in July of 2026, the bulb blew. I have searched and tried multiple different bulbs. None are the same and Target does not sell a replacement bulb.
