Q: I bought an HDMI cable to attach the camera to my laptop so I can use it as a field monitor. Is that possible?
A: Hi Miss Moo, the short answer is no. At the very least you would need a"Capture Card' to take in the camera's signal and render it for the laptop to read. Please contact 1-800-OK-CANON
