submitted by Cash - 1 year ago
  • A: Hi Cash, thanks for reaching out about Canon EOS REBEL T7 EF18-55mm + EF 75-300mm Double Zoom KIT The Canon EOS Rebel T7 has a variety of camera modes, including automatic modes, Creative Zone modes, and Basic Zone modes: Automatic modes - These modes are point-and-shoot, and the camera analyzes the scene to choose settings. Q: Would this option be great at action photos, sports specifically?

submitted by Melissa G - 2 months ago
  • A: Hi, thanks for reaching out about Canon EOS REBEL T7 EF18-55mm + EF 75-300mm Double Zoom KIT No, the Canon EOS Rebel T7 with the EF 18-55mm and EF 75-300mm lenses is not a good choice for serious sports photography because its burst rate of three frames per second and struggling autofocus cannot keep up with fast-moving subjects. The bundled 75-300mm lens is also considered a lower-quality option. However, the T7 camera body is a good starting point that can be improved with a faster, better-quality lens like a Canon 70-200mm f/2.8 or Canon 100-400mm for more demanding sports action. If you have any additional questions, we welcome you to contact MyTGTtech at 833-848-8324 every day, between 7am-11pm CST.

Worth the price

Great Camera with easy to use functions. The double lens comes in super handy when taking pictures not only close up for portraits but also distance for landscapes. I have found that the manual setting works best. There is a sports mode to take multiple pictures at once and select the best image.

Great in daylight, not good in lowlight, great for price

Have had this camera for 9 months. Its a really great beginner camera due to the price. Performs really good in the daylight but in lowlight and night situations its really really terrible. Although its not good, this camera really pushes your editing skills (if you edit your own photos) for when you upgrade your camera.

New camera

I have always had canon camera. My last one was T6 and just got the T7. I had the chance to use it this past weekend and get baby shower pictures. Everyone loved them and how they came out. The quality and image is so nice and clear. I would recommend this camera.

Great first camera

I’ve been using my T7 for a little over a year, and I love it. It’s my first “real” camera. Love the results, I’ve used it for wildlife, sports, architecture, etc. Added the canon 50 mm lens to the set up, and continued to get great results with that. This is a great entry level camera. I want to eventually upgrade to something like the R5 or R6, but I’ll keep using my T7 until it dies.

Best first camera ever

I bought this camera a month ago as my first “real” camera and I have used it nearly every day since I got it. I really like it. So far it’s been durable, it takes way better pictures than I’d been expecting, it’s reasonably easy to learn to use.... I’m really happy with this purchase

Owner for one year

I got this camera as a gift last year for Christmas and have used it regularly for 11 months now. I am a beginner and was looking for a hobby and I found it with this camera. It was easy to learn and I watched videos for tips and tricks. I have been able to photograph some really cool moments for friends and family and are images they will hold onto for a lifetime. I have often been told they look professional with a little lightroom retouching and will be using this camera for years to come as a hobbyist.

Focus and blurry images

It's not very good at focusing. If you want a clean photo you have to use another camera.
