Cantu's award-winning Sulfate-Free Cleansing Cream Shampoo easily becomes a holy grail staple for natural hair! Carefully crafted with the iconic formula of shea butter and essential oils, the Sulfate-Free Cleansing Cream Shampoo produces a rich lather that gently removes heavy buildup and provides moisture to reduce breakage during shampooing. Great for all hair textures, including natural, relaxed, color-treated, texturized, and permed hair. Our award-winning shampoo contains no harsh ingredients, making it the go-to shampoo for dry, brittle hair that needs extra care. It's mineral oil, sulfate, paraben, silicone, phthalate, paraffin, and propylene-free to ensure hair reaches optimal health. To use, simply wet hair completely, then squeeze Sulfate-Free Cleansing Cream Shampoo into hand and massage into hair beginning at the root and working toward the ends. Lather, and then rinse thoroughly with cool water to lock in moisture and produce shine. For hair with heavy product buildup, repeat cleansing process as needed. For best results, follow up the shampoo with Cantu's Deep Treatment Hair Masque, Cantu's Hydrating Cream Conditioner, and then style with other products from Cantu's Shea Butter Collection.

I bought this on recommendation from my hairdresser as I have unruly fine curly hair but to be honest I'm not that impressed. My hair is more fly away. Probably good for thick hair but if you have fine hair I think you need something better to hold it down more.
My hair feels great!
I have fine thin naturally curly hair. It is medium length, not above my shoulders but not too my rear.
The third time I washed my hair with this, I could tell my hair was so much softer. I know it has to do with pairing this shampoo with other Cantu sulfate free products.
This shampoo feels smooth and leaves my hair clean. It does lather up (I thought sulfate free washes didn't) so that helps me know that I covered every section.
The smell reminds me of pineapple and coconut, which is another plus!
Honestly, I blame myself. I continue to purchase Cantu products for their awesome price point, thinking that maybe, just maybe, this time it'll work in my hair. Once again, I was proved wrong. I bought this shampoo because I was in a hurry, and I couldn't go across town to get my go-to shampoo from Trader Joe's. This shampoo took forever to rinse out of my hair, and once I finally got it all out, it left my hair stripped, tangled and matted beyond belief. I had to use like half a jar of my deep conditioner to revive my curls. This is the final straw, NO MORE CANTU.
I have troublesome hair. Some days it looks ok, others - like something out of a horror film. Could never get any level of consisitency - until now, Since changing to the cantu range - my type 3C hair has never felt or looked nicer. I used this shampoo, then the leave in conditioner, followed by the twist and lock gel.. My hair looks healthy, my curls are defined & there is no tacky residue. It smells delicious too.
This is a great shampoo if you are just starting the curly girl method. This is the first shampoo I used since going curly human friendly, and it works great. There is nothing special about it, its cheap and gets the job done. Now, if you have been on the ch (h=human) method for a while like I have, you might want to change to something else. It is a bit stripping and my roots feel a bit dry and squeaky. Compared to a sulfate shampoo this is great and a LOT gentler but still not gentle enough after a while. Do I recommend? Yes, for transitioning hair, for at least 4 to 6 months maybe to really let your hair heal. That is about how long it took my hair to change from 2a hair to 2b hair. After that decide what you want based of the needs of your hair. Learn you hair type, porosity, etc. I recommend watching India Batson if you have 2b/2c hair. (if you need to figure out hair type she has a vid. on that). 3a hair Penny Tovar . 3c Mz Bianca Renee Today. I don't watch videos on 4c hair unfortunately since neither me or my fam. has that hair type. My hair type is 2b, low porosity, low density. Wish you luck on your hair journey! Just know its gonna be hard and frustrating at first but you WILL get it. Lots of love.
