Carefree Maxi Overnight Pads with Wings - 28ct

These are my favorite I won't use any other brand again

I've used "Stayfree" pads for over 20 years. Then they were replaced with this "Carefree" brand. I've used carefree for 6 months now and this product is so inferior. It's no wonder you can't find variety of the brand in stores. They don't absorb, they constantly leak, and there's 5 pieces of plastic to remove before you adhere it. I'm disappointed in the quality of the company. The 10hr rated pads only last about 2hr between the stickiness failing and the slow absorption causing a blowouts. Don't waste your money.

Carefree is a brand known for quality pantyliners, notsomuch pads, so when I learned they started making them I sought them out. Stores are notorious for not having your favorite period products so I had to order these online. Since Carefree and Stayfree are owned by the same parent company it seems these new pads are similar to the existing Stayfree offerings. This 'overnight' pad would seem to be a size 4 as it is roughly the same length as other regular overnight maxi's but it is fairly narrow and thin despite the inclusion of a rear set of wings. Despite Carefree's insistence that the rear is much wider, the fold-out wings do not contain absorbent material, the rear of the actual pad is roughly the same width as the front. This pad performed well and prevented leaks both during the day and at night when used with well-fitted panties. You will want to change the pad more often than other pads which use more absorbent material. It is interesting that this pad is thinner and narrower than the Stayfree Classic pad, which is marketed as a size 3 (long/super) and has a top sheet which is not quite as soft as the Stayfree. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great coverage for overnight during heavy flows! It’s extended (long) and thick to offer extra protection. Works great for those of us suffering heavy flows especially at night when you’re not checking often. The thickness is pretty noticeable when you move around though as it works better for a night pad due to being a bit thicker than normal ones. Received complimentary in my VoxBox.

They are very absorbing and cover everything that needs to be covered to prevent stain and messes associated with your cycle. They seem to be unscented and didn’t cause any issues, they are pretty thick and while I prefer the ultra thin style I’d definitely be interested in purchasing this brand again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I can't speak to absorbency since I haven't had my next cycle yet, but these have great coverage. There are 2 sets of wings with adhesive and the material is very soft.

However, the only part I do not like it how many stickers there are and the sticky spots get easily stuck together if you don’t spend time making sure they don’t stick together. It’s not the most ideal solution when you’re changing your pad in the middle of the night and want to get back to bed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I haven’t used the Carefree brand since I was in high school, and with this sample, I was reminded exactly why. The adhesive on the pads is subpar, causing the pad to shift within about half an hour of application as you would guess, this does not bode well for Keeping liquids where they need to remain. Additionally, I really don’t like the texture of the pad itself as a neurodivergent person texture is a big thing for me, and the texture of these pads was a huge ick.

I like that the whole wing isn’t sticky compared to others these just stick in some areas so it will be easier to attach to your underwear. I don’t recommend it for heavy flow like mine cause my period just runs down. These are more for like medium flow.

They opened well and I liked that they were not stuck on the liner of the package like most pads. They also have many sticky tabs to make sure they stay in place and boy do they stay in place! I loved that I wasn’t afraid of leaking while using these because I knew they would not bunch up and move. The pads are a little on the thicker side but most overnight pads are. I don’t think that the thickness made them uncomfortable at all! Also the thickness insures that they will absorb everything leaving me to have a nice and easy morning! The pad itself is extremely soft! The packaging also boasts that it absorbs any odors which is always a plus! I truly enjoyed using these pads and I’m thankful that I found a product to use at night that won’t have me checking my bed or pants in the mornings! Definitely will buy again!

I’ve used them since I was a teenager. They are comfortable and not balky at all. No leaks nor odors. I’m a very clean person and take my feminine hygiene very serious.

It does feel a bit like wearing a diaper until you’ve had it on for about an hour or so. I wouldn’t recommend unless you have a heavy flow.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using these carefree maxi pads since about week two postpartum. They have great absorbency and stay in place over night. I like that there are wings but also a spot in the back that sticks down. My flow hasn't been super heavy, so I can't comment on how well they work with heavy flows but for a medium to light flow they have kept my bedsheets protected.

It's seems to be made of quality material. I will do some research to see if Carefree also make these without the wings which I prefer. You can compare to Always brand. I do recommend if you’re looking for a carefree goodnight sleep.
