I am shocked at the bad reviews. This tool is amazing!! I used it on baseboards, my shower, around the toilet, window frames… you name it- incredible!

Apply slight pressure to it and it stops rotating.

Plastic piece inside scrubber head broke off before item was even used. Returned item due to lack of confidence in durability once used.

The different brush heads makes it easier to get into the tiny spots. Sorry, the picture doesn’t reflect how good this tool is!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Casabella Detail Power Spin Scrubber is advertised to clean grout, tight spaces, faucets and more. But does show a picture of cleaning shoes in the instructions with the large flat brush attachment included. I tested the different brush attachments on my sneakers, grout and bathtub soap scum. Battery installation: Directions say to use new batteries of same type. But I didn’t have either on hand. Used mixed old batteries. Four double AA. Getting the scrubber to power on took some figuring out. But the instruction booklet and the small icons inside the scrubber showed the directions the batteries are supposed to face to help (two face up, two face down). The springs also have to be aligned to the correct side. I wish the casing had arrows to indicate front and back side. For shoes: The large flat brush is too large and cumbersome for shoes. The scrubber tends to go in circles rather than stay straight. Best for swift one direction cleaning and larger spaces. The angle brush is too stiff, hard and abrasive. The small flat brush is the best for cleaning shoes. The bristles have enough flexibility to softly clean and get in tight spaces. Also a slightly softer brush. All attachments are on the abrasive side for shoes though (even the small flat brush shout not be used for mesh net of sneakers, as it began to cause frays). However, I’ll use the small flat brush again for tougher shoe sole areas with many crevices. It did do a good job with my sneaker bottoms (picture: left sneaker is not cleaned; right sneaker is cleaned with small flat brush). I did like the suds the brush created although it had to be reactivated with water to suds again. For grout: The brushes are quite abrasive so the stiff angle brush did chew up my old grout, which was already detaching. Test or prepare to re-grout if necessary. The head was a bit too large for deep grout spaces. For soap scum: The large flat brush did perform better here over the sneakers. But it is still a detail brush size best suited for shelves, nooks and crannies rather than the entire bathtub floor or sides, where a traditional scrubber is best. Ease of use: The brush heads are easy to attach and switch out. Pretty much like electric toothbrush changeability, with a right turn to lock. The handle grip is comfortable. The rubber covers the whole handle and is slightly tacky. Water seal: The batteries are at the bottom. You press two buttons to pop out the bottom. There’s a silicone ring to help with water resistance. But it’s not the biggest ring or the toughest seal. Pulling on the bottom releases it easy enough. I’m not the most confident about the water resistance. Get what you pay for in this instance. Overall: Not a bad product. Heavy duty bristles means definitely test the area you are trying to clean for abrasion resistance, like the box says.

The power isn’t extremely harsh that it would damage anything. It did not take away hard water stains around my sink fixture, but it did clean up the area a bit. The brush is like a big electric toothbrush for cleaning small areas around the house.

I think if there were a certain job that I needed it for, I would love it but as for now I just can’t seem to think up a scenario where I really need it and can’t just use a toothbrush or something. It takes 4 AA batteries to run, I wish it were rechargeable instead. It comes with 3 head sizes that are easy to change out. You really could use it as a toothbrush on yourself!! I just don’t think I recommend this unless you’ve got a special project.

I also bought brand new batteries with this wand. Thought maybe the batteries were dead, but my battery tester said they were good. Wand did not work. Tried different batteries no power.

It is a little bit confusing to handle once you turn it on because the brush does spin a lot but once you get the hang of it, it’ll clean good for sure! Would definitely get more Casabella products to keep my house squeaky clean!

I bought brand new Duracell batteries at the exact same time I bought this scrubber. It has ZERO power and adds absolutely nothing to my cleaning routine. It doesn’t make cleaning more effective OR easier because it literally does nothing. Don’t waste your money. Get one of the expensive ones. I took the batteries out and gave it to my autistic son for a new sensory toy. Literally the only use I’ve gotten out of it lol

The smaller head worked great for cleaning the keyboards. It was super easy to switch the heads. Having the included extra heads makes it nice because you don’t have to go out and buy additional ones. It durable and it was easy to grip.

Love this scrubber. I have been using this all around my home. It has been so helpful cleaning the grout of my kitchen tiles and around the back narrow area of the sink. I used it for spot cleaning stains on my carpet too and worked great. I have used this for the past weeks several times and still have full battery power.
