I have used this lotion for roughly three years, and I had always struggled with breakouts. I always chalked it up to my hormones, the actives I was using, etc. but I've come to realize that it was this product. While it does hydrate my skin, it also leads to consistant acne that varies in severity. The product does contain pore-clogging ingreidents, with the last ingredient on the list being very pore-clogging. Use at your own risk.

I have been using Olay face lotion for 10+ yrs (~$15/bottle weighs maybe 4-6 ounces). This CeraVe weighs 12 oz, and although it feels slightly less thick, my face cannot decern a difference. I have tried other lotions, and majority of the time, for me, my face would feel oily or the lotion would dry out before the face naturally replenished its oils. Time will tell, but being that I have years of using Olay and experimenting with other lotions, this one is getting an initial A+ based on how my face feels and the volume I got for the $.

For slightly sensitive, acne prone, dry skin I gave it a month run. Unfortunately it wasn’t for me I noticed that my face felt oily, and I would get small patches of breakouts. Not for me honest review :)

I enjoy using this lotion majorily on my body. Honestly when I tried using it on my face, I noticed it didn’t relieve dryness. So I wouldn’t recommend this for facial care for dry skin. However this is a lovely simple lotion if you don’t enjoy strong smells or any lotion with scent. It works great for your body and applies smoothly.

I’ve been using this as my every day moisturizer for years. It’s so hydrating it feels like you’re giving your skin a drink of water. It’s pretty thick, and definitley sits on your skin for a bit after applying. But it’s great for after shower/after cleansing.
