I don't know how it's possible, but after two years of being free of breakouts, I've been getting acne again. It happened once I started using this sunscreen. I usually use a different brand, and this particular product has made me really shiny (I got a new driver's license made and they needed me to blot my face and do a retake because my skin was reflecting the flash too much in the photo), and pimples have formed on the perimeters of my face-- some on my cheeks, around the eyes, but the worst are the clusters of small pimples on my neck/behind the ears. The only things that has changed in my skincare is this SPF. I am really puzzled and annoyed!

To minimize this, apply thin layers, allowing each to absorb fully before applying the next, and ensure your skin is well-moisturized beforehand. The white cast may also diminish after a few minutes. This sunscreen is great. It doesn’t make you break out after, and I have acne prone skin. It does not leave a white cast on my skin at all. It’s a tiny bit greasy, leaves a little shine after use. That is worth it to me however because does not irritate eyes at all, I also have extremely sensitive eyes. I would highly recommend!

I love this sunscreen! It's the perfect combination of chemical and physical protection. I use it after washing my face in the morning in place of my moisturizer, so it's one and done (love that!). On initial application, it leaves a slight white cast on my mature medium tone skin but quickly absorbs into a clear finish which is perfect base for my cream foundation. I hope to see more sunscreens in a hybrid formula on the market. Perhaps one with higher SPF or a tinted version (hint, hint!).

I don't know how to feel for this product. Yes, this sunscreen is good, but not for daily use. When I first put this on my face (After doing skincare and letting it dry) It felt a bit, key word, BIT greasy. Not fully greasy, but a bit of grease. I also had a faint white cast on my face too. I think it's okay if you're using it on your body/face if you have no other option, but this wouldn't be my first choice.

Cerave is my go-to essentials and I am happy with the Sheer Sunscreen SPF 30 as I can put on in the morning any time of the year. I want to be protected from strong UV rays on my skin. The scent reminds me of the beach and the absorption is amazing as it automatically does it.

Amazing!! This product has everything one can want when it comes to facial sunscreen. It is light, leaves no film residue, it is clear, and most important it is gentle. I would have given it a complete five stars except for the fact that the bottle always seems to come half full. The price is very good for the quality of products but in only getting a half bottle kind of diminishes that a little.

Definitely liked that it made me feel moisturized. However, this is not for the girls who want something lightweight or matte. Which is what I wanted. It feels and looks very greasy, and that feeling doesn’t go away throughout the day. Will not be repurchasing.

I'm very selective about my body lotions and sunscreens: the consistency upon initial application, the fragrance (I don't want to smell it, and certainly don't want it to compete with my own fragrance of choice), and the feel on my skin (I don't like that thick, sticky feel). I like that this sunscreen is lightweight, and a very light scent (if, at all) which disappears quickly; while it may feel a bit sticky at first, it dries and is absorbed into by skin, leaving my skin smooth and dry to the touch. In addition, it doesn't leave a white cast on my dark tanned skin. I appreciate that this product is multipurpose (for both face and body); however, I don't use this on my face regularly, as I use CeraVe's even lighter-weight products. I can't rate this on its effectiveness on sun protection yet. To date, I'm happy with this product that I've since purchased another!

Once of my favorite sunscreens! I keep this at my work desk for afternoon applications. I find that it blends well and really is sheer. My only complaint, however, is I wish it came in a SPF 50.

I really enjoy this sunscreen. I used to use the CeraVe AM Moisturizer with sunscreen in it but I have replaced it with this! The moisturizer would make me feel very oily, but this feels much lighter weight. There is a little shimmer when you first apply it but I feel like it goes away fairly quickly.

Do not buy this product if you have sensitive skin. I wore this sunscreen to the beach and ended up with photocontact dermatitis (basically the sun reacted with one of the products from the sunscreen on my skin resulting in hives, itching, and burning). Pretty much ruined the whole vacation.

Mineral sunscreens utilize titanium and/or zinc oxide particles to form a barrier that reflects the sun's rays away from the skin. Because the ingredients stay on the surface of your skin, a white cast can sometimes remain after applying the product. We suggest applying a small amount in the palm of your hands and rubbing them together. Then, apply to one small area at a time, rubbing well. The formula should apply easily leaving a lightweight, non-greasy feel. Keep in mind, all sunscreens should be applied liberally for sun protection.
