The formula itself is good, but the packaging change makes you waste half the product. Even with daily use you can barely get half way through without it oxidizing too much. The old packaging didn't prevent oxidization completely, but it was never this bad.

I don’t dislike the product but this has to be worst packaging I have ever purchased for a beauty product. You will waste half the product between opening and losing this product, and it will constantly leave nasty residue because the lid is so difficult to secure.

I have some dark spots on my face which im trying hard to get rid of it. I’ve been using this Cerave serum for a few weeks now. The texture is super smooth and it absorbs really quickly into the skin, which I love because I don’t have time to wait around in the morning. It has a nice, lightweight feel and doesn’t leave my skin greasy or sticky. I can see a bit of a glow on my face, and my skin looks a little brighter overall, but I think it might take more time to see a major difference. The packaging is pretty straightforward and easy to use—nothing fancy, but it gets the job done. There’s no strong scent, which is a bonus for me since I don’t like my skincare to be too fragrant. One small con is that it’s yellow color, if you use it during the night, you better let it absorb into the skin first before going to sleep, otherwise you would find yellow marks on your pillow.

    Disappointed with new tube packaging

I have used this vitamin C for years. I have sunspots and melasma and this product, and using retinol at night, has reduced the appearance. My last tube of this vitamin C was in the new packaging. Unfortunately, this product turned orange quickly! When the tube was “aluminum”, it took almost 6 months and towards the end of the tube for this product to discolor. Since the tube is now “plastic” it has turned orange within the first few months. Very disappointed! Will be looking for a different vitamin C.

Have used the face cleanser and both lotion and cream on body for years as I loved Cerave products. I thought I’d try the face serum. Horrible! Within minutes my face felt like it was on fire, followed by ears. Quickly my entire body was covered in bright red blotches/hives from head to toes. I took pictures if you’d like to see. It was awful, burned like a bad sunburn. I didn’t know what to do. I had only put on my face. I do not have overly sensitive skin and nothing like this has ever happened to me. I attached a few pics but not any that showed too much of my body but trust me, the rash was all over.

I recently started using the CeraVe Skin Renewing Vitamin C Eye Cream, and it has quickly become a staple in my skincare routine! Here’s what I love about it: **1. Brightening Effect:** This eye cream contains Vitamin C, which has noticeably brightened the skin around my eyes. I’ve seen a reduction in dark circles, making my eyes look more awake and refreshed. **2. Lightweight Texture:** The cream has a lightweight, non-greasy formula that absorbs quickly. It feels refreshing on the skin and doesn’t leave any heavy residue, making it perfect for layering under makeup. **3. Hydration Boost:** Formulated with hyaluronic acid and ceramides, it provides excellent hydration. My under-eye area feels plump and moisturized, which has helped reduce the appearance of fine lines. **4. Gentle Formula:** I appreciate that this eye cream is fragrance-free and suitable for sensitive skin. It hasn’t caused any irritation, which is often a concern with eye products. **5. Easy Application:** The pump dispenser is convenient and allows for precise dosage. A little goes a long way, making it easy to apply just the right amount. **6. Visible Results:** After a few weeks of consistent use, I’ve noticed my skin looks more even-toned and youthful. It’s a great addition to my anti-aging skincare routine. Overall, I highly recommend the CeraVe Skin Renewing Vitamin C Eye Cream for anyone looking to brighten and hydrate the delicate skin around their eyes. It’s effective, affordable, and a pleasure to use!

I recently tried the CeraVe Vitamin C Serum, and I must say it exceeded my expectations. As someone who is always on the lookout for effective skincare products, this serum has quickly become a staple in my routine. The texture is lightweight and slightly gel-like, which makes it easy to spread across the skin. It absorbs quickly, leaving no sticky residue, making it suitable for layering with other products in my routine. I appreciate that it doesn't leave my skin feeling greasy, which is a common concern with some serums. The star of the show is undoubtedly the 10% L- ascorbic acid. After using the serum consistently for a few weeks, I noticed brighter, more radiant skin. My skin tone appeared more even, and some fine lines looked less prominent. The serum also left my skin feeling hydrated, thanks to the inclusion of ceramides and hyaluronic acid. Overall, I highly recommend the CeraVe Vitamin C Serum to anyone looking to enhance their skincare routine. It's user-friendly, effective, and suitable for various skin types. With noticeable improvements in brightness and texture, this serum earns a solid five-star rating from me. If youre searching for a reliable vitamin C serum, look no further-this product is definitely worth a try!

I use this CereVe vitamin C serum instead of the CereVe retinol cream while pregnant or breastfeeding. My skin is looking brighter, and clearer from acne. I think it feels smoother too. I haven't had any poor reactions, or problems with pilling. Although, I usually put the serum on at night, on a clean face. Then I don't add more in the morning before applying a day cream, and makeup. I do also use a mineral powder makeup, and I'm sure that could help. I like it's texture. It's thin and a little goes a long way. It smells mildly sweet to me, (probably from the vitamin C) but I don't mind it a bit. I would love for it to cost less, but I think its a good value. I'll buy it again and recommend it to family!

I got this product after my derm recommended incorporating vitamin C into my skincare routine. She gave me some sample of the LRP and suggested starting at a low % when I expressed irritation with previous use of vitamin C. My skin doesn’t do well with fragrance which the LRP has, so I found this. Things I like: the form of vitamin C used (ascorbic acid), the packaging, the absence of fragrance, no oxidation before finishing the bottle, the price. Things that were just average: the results after 1 bottle were not noticeable to me, my skin was drier and slight irritation came and went, feels like you need to use a lot of product to cover your face and neck. Overall, the product was just ok. Mainly because I saw no improvement in my skin.

The product itself is pretty good. It doesn't quite give me the glow that expensive vit C serums have, but it does seem to fade discoloration. The main reason I use it is that, at this price point, I can also slather it on my hands, arms, and neck with abandon. My main complaint is that the new plastic packaging is not an improvement over the aluminum tube. That package had a long skinny tip that was prone to breaking, but it must have protected the product better because the serum stayed white until the last drops. You just had to take care not to drop the tube or bend off the tip by accident. With this new packaging, it's not as fragile, but the serum started to turn amber almost immediately, then to orange about halfway through. And I use the product liberally every day, so it's not like it sat around. If my next tube has the same issues I'll consider switching to a different brand.
