Q: Can I use this on my eyes?

A: Hello Sara! While CeraVe Ultra-Light Face Lotion with SPF 30 is formulated for the face, applying it directly to the eye area is generally not recommended. Sunscreens, even facial ones, can sometimes cause irritation if they get into the eyes. The skin around the eyes is very delicate. It's best to use a product specifically designed for that area, or a sunscreen labeled as "safe for use around the eyes." If you need sun protection for your eye area, you might consider wearing sunglasses, or applying a small amount of the CeraVe lotion around your orbital bone, being very careful to avoid direct contact with the eyes themselves. If you experience any irritation, discontinue use and consult a dermatologist.

Love this stuff! Never makes me greasy and is perfect to mix with bronzing drops for a glow. Dries down and soaks in quick with no sticky residue. Also sits well under makeup! I absolutely love this face lotion. It is so light and doesn’t make my sensitive skin break out even with the spf. I also use it on my 4 year old for spf who also has super sensitive skin. I have repurchased this 5 times to date and will continue to purchase for as long as they make it. I took off one star because of the packaging. Once you get to a certain point, the pump no longer dispenses lotion, so you think it’s empty but it’s actually not. If you cut the bottle in half with a scissor, you have another 1-2 weeks of product left inside! They definitely need better packaging where you can finish every ounce of the lotion that you are paying for!

I recently tried this lotion with SPF from CeraVe and I’ve really enjoyed it. It doesn’t leave a white cast given the fact that it has SPF and it applied really well under makeup. It’s an ok product and a good drug store price tag. Would buy again.

I’ve been using this moisturizer for a couple of years and really love it. It is lightweight but also feels very moisturizing. It’s perfect for daily use. The spf isn’t enough so I usually put sunscreen over this in the summer. In the winter I may just use this on its own over my make up and it helps my foundation glide flawlessly…I don’t even need to use a primer.

This is the second time I buy this. Something changed with the formula. It feels heavier and stickier on the skin and you can smell the sunscreen. I liked It better before. Probably won’t buy again.

Gets the job done but for some reason, formula is still kind of thick and not lightweight but once you work in your fingertips, it applies nicely on face. I have dry skin, so I’m not a huge fan of it. I feel like I need something more hydrating.
