Is mild yet effective for daily use helping my skin feels smoother and gentle. Lathers gently and rinses off easily. Helps manage the break outs.

So awful for so many reasons! First of all, instantly the smell was terrible. It truly smells rancid. Second, I had a horrific reaction to it. Minutes later my whole face was tomato red. (And for reference, my face cleaner before this was a sulfur soap... so for the smell of this to be offensive to me in comparison is WILD.) Also, I've used salicylic acid based face soaps throughout my whole life and have never had a reaction. So it's not gentle, it doesn't make your face feel clean, and I'm anticipating will actually make me break out worse while my skin processes it out :(

This actually works, i have hormonal acne and i love this stuff its great for clearing acne and scaring as well.

I’m 2 months postpartum and my acne has returned with a vengeance. I needed something gentle and have had good results with acne products from this brand before. My skin is super sensitive and while the acne already made my face red and painful, my face burnt when I used this. After each use I would have a very red irritated face. I discontinued use about a week ago and my face is no longer red and irritated like it had been. I loved the consistency of this wash, I wish I didn’t have the reaction I did.

The smell alarms me every time I use this. However the smell disappears as soon as I rinse it off & the stubborn acne I was suddenly dealing with has gone away. So worth it but probably won’t buy again.

I needed a new cleaner since I was noticing more and more acne. I tried the Cetaphil acne cleanser and noticed a difference. It's been about a month now and I haven't gotten as many pimples as before it's definitely working. My face doesn't feel dry or rough after use it just feels clean!! I'm so glad I tried this out. I recommend!

I usually swear by Cetaphil but this stuff smells AWFUL! Like burnt plastic. I can smell it on my face all day. The consistency is also very strange, I had to double check to make sure I wasn’t using lotion lol. Definitely don’t recommend and will be returning.

This smells HORRID. Upon the first use it was extremely strange and strong odor. I checked the expiration date and looked inside the bottle to see if there was any mold but I didn’t notice anything. The smell lingers on my face after I wash it. I’ve never used Cetaphil before and was going from my usual CeraVe because of how expensive it is. I guess this is what happens when you go for the “cheaper” option. I googled to see if others had this same experience and some spoke of a formula change as the potential cause but I see the majority of people not having this issue. I don’t know who decided this was “fragrance free” but it’s fragrance FULL. I noticed slight irritation in my eyes but figured I just got some in my eyes by accident. It seems to work okay for my acne but I don’t know if I will be able to finish this bottle.

I have always used Cetaphil products. I bought this one cause my usual was out of stock. And this stuff smells horrible!!! It's like rotten glue, which is awful for face wash. Please do something about the smell!

I love this product for acne. All the others I've tried dried out my skin & this doesn't. I use it twice a day & the oil free moisturizer & I saw my skin clearing within a day, please never stopped making this, I loveeeeeee it!!!!

I've struggled with super oily skin for a long time, and it felt like my pores were constantly 'full' of gunk that just wouldn't go away. It was honestly so frustrating to deal with every day. Since I started using the Cetaphil Gentle Clear Pore Clearing Acne Cleanser, I've seen a huge difference. My pores look so much better and almost 'closed' because they aren't filled with oil anymore. My face isn't a greasy mess at the end of the day, which is a total win! A quick word of advice: Don't overdo it! At first, I used it too much and my face got really dry. I learned the hard way that you have to use it in moderation. Once you find that right balance, it's a game-changer for keeping skin clear without stripping it.

Had an allergic reaction, used it twice & now have a rash all over my upper body. Day 3 of it. Only new thing I’ve used.

My current face cleanser was not working g for my skin anymore and was causing my skin to break out . I did some research on cleansers and found this brand is the most gentlest on your skin I have been using it for months and no break out at all . Best cleanser I have used in years .

I really like this cleanser. I have added it to my nighttime routine. The product does exactly what the names says: gently clears your pores to stop and prevent acne without being too harsh like other cleansers on the market. It goes on like a smooth cream as long as you dampen your face before applying. My skin felt a bit tight at first but in a good way. It is a wonderful nighttime cleanser that removes any excess makeup residue and preps my skin for my evening skincare products.

It is a very good cleanser. It works super well to remove makeup and I did not have any breakouts when I used it so good for my acne. The only issue is that my eyes would hurt even in contact with it.
