Q: does this have phathalates?
A: Phthalates (which are safe) were used in fragrances to help scents adhere to skin and last longer. Due to mass hysteria they are not used now. Anything that is fragrance free will have no phthalates.
submitted byTruthInAdvertising - 3 years agoA: Hi there! We reformulated Cetaphil Moisturizing Lotion, Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream and Cetaphil Advanced Relief Lotion with a dermatologist-backed blend of Vitamin B3, Vitamin B5 and hydrating Glycerin to improve the resilience of sensitive skin. As before, our moisturizers are hypoallergenic and formulated without the use of unwanted ingredients like parabens and fragrance. You can still expect the same great experience with these new and improved products. Hope that helps!
submitted byGalderma Team Member - 3 years agoBrand expertA: You are maybe confusing phthalates and parabens. Phthalates ARE a carcinogenic component of plastic; there's no reason why they'd be in a skin cream. Parabens ARE NOT carcinogenic and not in this.

Q: Does this product include cetearyl alcohol?? Heard this feeds the yeast in fungal acne and makes it worse.
A: Hi there - our Moisturizing Cream does not contain cetearyl alcohol. If you're acne prone, we recommend trying out Gentle Exfoliating SA Face Lotion, which gently exfoliates and hydrates to promote daily surface skin cell renewal for softer and smoother skin after 1 use.
