Q: if these are the same as zyrtec, then why is hydrochloride in the name where as zyrtec is just listed as having cetirizine with no mention of hydrocholoride??

submitted by charlie - 4 years ago
  • A: Hi, thank you for your question on the Cetirizine hydrochloride Allergy Relief tablets. Zyrtec has their active ingredient listed as cetirizine hcl. Hcl stands for hydrochloride. Q: Are the pills scored, can they be halved?

submitted by Chicone - 5 years ago
  • A: Hi, thank you for your question about the Cetirizine allergy tablets. This tablet is not scored. We do not recommend tablets that are not scored be cut in half and taken in a partial dose. Cutting them in half may affect the way the product is metabolized and/or absorbed in the body. For example, a tablet that is cut in half could contain a higher concentration of the active ingredient in one piece than in the other. The only way to guarantee that the appropriate dosage is consumed and absorbed is to use the whole tablet. If you would like additional information, please let us know and we would be happy to further assist you.

Cetirizine Hydrochloride Allergy Relief Tablets - 120ct - up&up Review Rating: ★★★★☆ (4/5) As someone who suffers from seasonal allergies and occasional indoor allergens, I was on the lookout for an affordable, effective over-the-counter antihistamine. After trying several brands, I decided to give the up&up Cetirizine Hydrochloride Allergy Relief Tablets a try, and here's my experience. --- Performance: ★★★★☆ The Cetirizine Hydrochloride tablets deliver consistent, reliable allergy relief. From my first dose, I felt a noticeable reduction in symptoms like sneezing, itchy eyes, and a stuffy nose. It works within about 30 minutes of taking the tablet, providing relief for up to 24 hours. I've been using it for a few weeks now and have found it to be consistently effective throughout the day, especially during peak allergy seasons. Pro: Fast-acting and long-lasting. I don't have to worry about re-dosing during the day. Con: For some users, it may not provide the same intensity of relief for severe allergies, though it works well for mild to moderate cases. --- Design: ★★★★☆ The tablets are simple and easy to swallow, about the size of a standard pain reliever. The packaging is straightforward and user-friendly, and I appreciate the 120-count bottle, which offers good value. The bottle is easy to store, and the tablets are well-organized inside. Pro: Convenient 120-count packaging, great for long-term use without frequent re-purchasing. Con: The bottle doesn't come with a childproof cap, so keep it out of reach if you have little ones. --- Usability: ★★★★★ The Cetirizine Hydrochloride tablets are incredibly easy to incorporate into my routine. I simply take one tablet each morning, and it keeps my allergy symptoms in check all day. The fact that it’s a once-a-day dosage is a game-changer for me—no need to remember multiple doses. Pro: One dose per day is simple and hassle-free. Con: None! It's very user-friendly. --- Side Effects: ★★★☆☆ Like most antihistamines, this product comes with a potential for drowsiness. While I don't experience drowsiness as much as some others might, it can make me feel a little sluggish in the evenings if I take it too late in the day. It’s generally mild, but for those with sensitive reactions, it might be something to keep in mind. Pro: Minimal drowsiness for most users. Con: Some may experience mild drowsiness, especially if taken late in the day. --- Value for Money: ★★★★★ At a price point significantly lower than many name-brand antihistamines, the up&up Cetirizine Hydrochloride tablets provide excellent value. The 120-count bottle lasts a long time, which means I don’t have to buy it often, making it a budget-friendly option for allergy relief. Pro: Affordable without sacrificing quality. Con: None for the price—it’s hard to beat. --- Final Thoughts and Recommendation Overall, the up&up Cetirizine Hydrochloride Allergy Relief Tablets are a fantastic option for anyone dealing with allergies. They are effective, easy to use, and affordable, making them a staple in my allergy relief arsenal. I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a reliable antihistamine that won't break the bank, especially for those who suffer from mild to moderate allergy symptoms. If you're dealing with more severe allergy symptoms, you may need something stronger, but for most casual allergy sufferers like myself, this is a great go-to product. --- Who Should Buy This: People who experience seasonal or mild allergies. Those who prefer a once-a-day medication. Budget-conscious buyers looking for quality OTC allergy relief.

Truly baffled why blue dye is in this antihistamine. I’ve always taken Zyrtec liquid gels until I realized these do in fact work just as well for cheaper. But I will be switching back due to the questionable ingredients in this brand.

I don't respond well to Sudafed or Claritin but these were amazing. I wasn't sleepy. I wasn't wired. I just was better. I will be picking up the large size asap.
