Is there cream cheese in this? The slightly sweet gelatinous topping that is supposed to be cream cheese tastes nothing like cream cheese. The pastry was dry, spongy, and flavorless. I was hoping for the cream cheese danish of my childhood (from the grocery store) but this didn’t come close. Horrible.

My husband usually has these for breakfast with coffee. He ends up eating the entire thing during the week, but will comment that it’s too sweet!! He’s a picky eater, so I know he would not eat it if he disliked it. I’ve never tried it.

Not super sweet which is nice. It’s soft and pretty much exactly what you’d expect. My only gripe about this product is there is no Best By or Expiration date sticker, nor any writing as to how long it’s good. Would be perfect if they could add that.

This Danish is exactly what Tea/After-Work Snack used to be in the homes of our childhood favorite neighbor-mommas after school. The Cheese Icing is perrrfect: in not 1oz of the 97lb of delicacy is it too much, too cloying. And they right: if you really insist on sharing it with other humans or whatever, it IS best with a li'l nuke (20 seconds for one slice)....but I don't know the particulars, becasue I've just been serving it sliced over molten brown sugar. Joking, but of course, impossible to prove that I'm not.

These are hands down the best danish I’ve ever had. They are not wet the have the perfect texture. Yum yum please they are out of stock right now at my local target I’m still waiting for them to restock

Horrible… wish I could get my money back on this. They sell the Cheese Danish pastries, but it’s very rare to find those. I thought this would taste like those because the pastries are really good. This danish cake thing taste bad. Stop selling this Target & sell more of the Cheese Danish pastries!
