Cute item. However packing was terrible. They both arrived broken into pieces. They were wrapped in a brown mesh paper. Similar to paper towel. They are sold out in stores. I wanted to give them as gifts.

I ordered this gorgeous Gingerbread Cookbook Holder for shipping since it wasn't available at my local Targets, BIG MISTAKE!! I did received the item the following day but it came broken. The item was Poorly packaged, no bubble wrap to protect it since it is a Fragile item. Item was just wrapped in a thin butcher paper and a bit more of crumbled but her paper inside the box which did NOT fill nor protected the item. I made a Fix My Item Claim to which I was able to get a new BROKEN Gingerbread cookbook holder 2 days later. Yes, you read that right, I got a second one all broken. I decided to call their customer service line to which was no help at all. I kept telling the customer service lady that it would be much wiser to get the package delivered to the store instead of my house so we can avoid having the package go through so many handlers. Customer Service kept saying "uy uy uy no uy uy uy we'll refund your money and you can order another one to your house." WHY would I want more BROKEN items? Note to self, Never order Target fragile items through Shipping since they aren't properly packaged.

This is such a cute concept however the first one wasn’t packaged well and arrived broken. Target was so quick to send out a replacement and it arrived unbroken but yet had very splotchy paint areas. I expected better for the price. Sad because it could’ve been so cute.

The holder itself is very cute, and a great price. I purchased it via pickup, and unfortunately the one I received doesn’t sit flat. I am thinking the bottom is uneven. I gave 5 stars because the item is really nice and Target is sending a replacement, which was easy to request.

It is heavy stoneware and super cute. I am using it on my desk to hold my planner.
