I have dyed auburn hair (natural colour is a medium brown). After about 6 weeks since dying my hair I do notice that the ends go very light in comparison to the top of my head. This mask did work very well at evening it all back out to the initial dyed colour. However, I can get the same effect from a colour boosting conditioner that is much easier to use than having to wash hair, get out of shower to apply, and wait for a while. So whilst I was happy with the results it's not a product I'll realistically reach for due to time constraints and the fact it lasts about 3 washes.

I found the results to be very subtle - which is fine but it definitely didn't give the results it suggested. Perhaps my hair is too dark to start with. The results on my hands however were less subtle! I'd suggest using gloves but I admit to forgetting about this the second and third times I tried this and having to give them a really good scrub. It does come off though so I don't end up with crazy coloured skin. But it definitely would have helped to have a wee warning or suggestion about gloves on the tub. When I washed it out my hair was really soft which is a nice plus! Easy to use with a delicate smell which is something I definitely approve of as too many hair products can be really over perfumed. The biggest plus for me came not in the shade variation that it offered, I know I was surprised too, but in the way it has given my rather beleaguered, desperately in need of a cut, lockdown hair a fresh leash of life and made it look and feel that little bit healthier.

This mask arrived in beautiful packaging which made me want to wash my hair and try it from the get go. The mask itself feels suantial and thick but leaves your hair feeling lightweight with little residue when washed. Unlike many masks, it is very easy to use and to wash out. The product smells divine and leaves your hair with a light scent which is really pleasant. After use my hair was noticeably shinier, softer and more vibrant. I didn't write this review straight away as I wanted to use the product a few times but I can genuinely say that with each time of use, my hair looks better. I would definitely recommend the shade mask along with the shampoo.

It didn't disappoint at all. The shine it adds is amazing and it revived my dyed brown hair wonderfully. My hair felt so soft and healthy afterwards.

This colour mask was easy to use and gave a really nice all over warm brown colour. I used this with the pre colour shampoo which evens out your colour and then this mask for 30 minutes. This mask is great, I used it through lock down to keep my colour vibrant. It is perfect to use between salon visits as it helps keep the colour and moisturises your hair. I have naturally brown hair and use the chestnut mask to warm up my hair and it worked by making my hair a bit more reddish.

I felt like my brunette hair was feeling so flat and dull so after using the mask for the first time I could see warm chestnut shades coming through which were lighter and warmer. The product has a lovely fragrance and you get a good amount in the tub.

This hair mask had a lovely smell and a very rich, luxurious texture. I applied to my hair as directed and left for the shortest amount of time but found it left my hair feeling greasy after rinsing. I think it would be better on a drier hair type as it was just too heavy for me. I would recommend it to a friend but only depending on the type of hair they have, as I can see how moisturising it could be. I think it would help to maintain colour treated hair longer but I didn't use it enough to test this, due to how it reacted with my hair type.
