Thank you for the feedeback. When the toy is squeezed, the air is forced through the squeaker, resulting in a squeaking sound. It is very possible that your dog may have punctured the squeaker during play which is preventing the squeaker from producing a sound. It is important to remember that No dog toy is indestructible, and every dog interacts with its toys differently. Supervised play will go a long way toward helping your dog's toys last longer. The Best Ball!
My dog adores this ball. It has great bounce and the squeak lasts even with use. We take it to the dog park and other dogs abandon the balls they are playing with and want Ruth's ball!!!

Wish the Squeaker Worked Longer
As with other reviews, my Golden LOVED this ball and I just wish the squeaker design was better and lasted longer. Such a fun to place - outside- with a squeaker, Makes others at the park smile :) Please improve design.

Can Fall apart, end caps come off. Choking hazard.
A squeaker ball that has to be taken away if the dog makes it squeak too much. My 40 lb. dogs love the noise it makes. This seems to be a quality control issue. It does not happen to all of them, but about about 1/3 of 10 that I purchased were easily disassembled by a 40 lb. Australian Cattle Dog. On all of them, the squeaker stops working after some play time. It just falls into the inside and turns into a rattle. On some of them, the dog gets the end cap off and gets the squeaker out.

BEWARE! CHOKING HAZARD!
I bought this ball for my German Shepherd. Within 20minutes, she was able to remove the medium-sized squeaker completely! Luckily I was around and investigated when I heard a pop sound. This could have easily resulted in my dog's death

Squeaker Did Not last 5 Days
First off, we use the Chuckit balls for play, not chewing. With that in mind, the squeaker did not last for five play sessions with a single 90lb dog. Wife happy, dog not so much.

Great ball but short lived squeak
My springer spaniel absolutely loves the ultra squeaker balls. He’s had two size L but the squeaker quits working the on the first day each time. He hasn’t chewed it up or anything. It’s just that his jaw is so strong I think it squeezes the squeaker loose inside. This time I bought the size XL for him hoping it would be harder for him to dislodge the squeaker but same result. It died it the first hour of play. The ball in itself is durable. Bounces great and he loves to squeeze it in his jaw he just wished it would still squeak. Maybe it’s a good thing though or I might have gone insane by now with all the squeaking LOL

Lasted 12 Hours
With the Ultra Ball being such a great success with my Mal, it seemed adding a little squeak would up the game a little. The first indication that wasn't going to happen was the squeaker died within an hour. The following morning, it popped right out. In the can it went, so my boy wouldn't choke on anything. This one failed the tough test.

At last! A squeak that my Papillon can't destroy!
I have spent so much money on squeaky toys and my 7 yr old Papillon destroys them in MINUTES to get at the squeak. I bought this from a shop in New Zealand so I am glad to find this site.

Squeaker
I had the same problem as everyone else. The first day this was THE BEST ball they have ever made. My dog went after it even harder than normal. The Squeaker came loose in a day. Ball is still good though so not a total waste of money. Hoping one can be made that squeaker lasts longer.

Squeaker failure
I'm an Aussie/Blue Heeler mix who is tough on toys. Only Chuckit! balls withstand my version of fetch so they are the only brand my Mom buys. Squeaky toys are my favorite and I'm terribly distraught that the squeaker dislodged within 30 minutes. Fortunately it remained inside the ball with no obvious means of escape (unlike the previous version) so it wasn't thrown away. I'm hoping you make one that doesn't lose its squeak soon! Squeakers died right away
My dog just loved to fetch these balls and squeak them while retrieving them. Unbelievably, BOTH squeakers in BOTH balls I had stopped working in just a couple of days. You could even hear one of them just rattling around inside the ball. What a disappointment.

Real poor quality--should take it off the market.

Dead SqueakerS
We bought 2 of these. Our GRetriever loves the Chuckit balls....and loves squeakers. BUT, in two successive days the squeakers were dead in BOTH balls. What is wrong here? He LOVED them while they worked. Guys, you really need to re-do this product. Right idea, poor execution.

Squeaker came loose right away
Got the medium Ultra Squeaker for our border collie mix, who is an absolute fetch monster. It was tons of fun at first, but we were both quickly disappointed with the quality. Within 15 minutes of playing catch indoors, the squeaker quit squeaking and had become a rattle instead. The honeymoon was over, and he went back to his favorite toys. The ball itself seems up to the usual Chucking durability standards, so it still rates 3 stars for that.
