The tin is magnetic NOT the cards.

The box states to put the card in the lid in order for the magnets to work. The cards themselves are not magnetic. I find that you need at least 8 tiles on the card in order for it to "stick." Once it's "stuck, " the rest of the picture is easy to do. I, as well as my 4 year old, find it a bit annoying to keep the tiles on for the first 8 pieces. So he has me do the first 8 and he completes the rest of the picture. Stronger tiles would be better or magnetic cards in general.

Fun concept, but the magnets don’t stick to the pictures at all. The colors were sliding all around and my kid stopped playing with it in 5 minutes. Also, not enough of the color magnets to do more than one picture at a time.

The puzzles are good however if more than one person wants to do it there are not enough pieces. The magnets on the pieces are also not strong enough if the tin carrier gets knocked over, as we lost pieces our first time out.

Fun for long car rides/ road trips, this activity allows your child to do it in the car. They can pick a picture and place it on the tin cover and then place the little magnets on the picture like a color by number. Helps get us through long car rides

Great idea but the magnets do not work on the paper. My toddler loved to match the colors to the numbers but when they weren’t magnetic against the box & paper as the directions indicated, she became frustrated pretty quickly.

Super fun. Even my 14 year old niece wanted to play with this at the restaurant. My son loves magnets and puzzles, this was perfect. I really wanted him to be able to play with something while waiting for our food at a restaurant or when bored rather than always being on his phone/tablet.

This item has some pro’s and con’s. Overall, this is a great concept. I bought it to use in my classroom, thinking that the actual pictures were magnetic, but then I realized you have to put the picture on the magnetic tin, in order for the magnets to “stick”. Not a huge deal. I think I will get a few small cookie sheets, so multiple kids can use it at once. Although, there aren’t a lot of the colored magnetic squares, so I don’t quite know if that will work out the way I imagine it, either. But, I will try. It is also a lot smaller than I expected- good for fine motor skills, bad for trying to keep track of a bunch of tiny pieces. All in all, I got it for 50% off retail, and it was also part of the BOGO 1/2 off sale. So, it was a steal. If I paid full price, I would have definitely returned it.

First off you have to spend time disconnecting 100 magnets from each other because the company doesn't do it. They are perforated but still must be disconnected and if that wasn't bad enough the magnets hardly stick. It's advertised as good for in the car. If it gets turned upside down you will be looking for tiny squares all over the place because they don't stick. Dissapointing product. I do not recommend this at all.
