DO NOT BUY THIS!! The game board is too shallow to hold all the marbles that accumulate during game play. You will get very frustrated!! Buy another board that has deeper pits. This is NO GOOD.

Same good game - poor new design. Find a digferent board.
Love this game - very nostalgic! However the board design has gone downhill. It’s hard to even fit the beads in the cups. They spill over and fall out. It’s annoying to get going on a turn and have to constantly fix beads.

I guess for 10 dollars this is ok. The wood is cheap, the rocks are too big for the game and it doesn’t feel very nice. But my daughter and I love mancala, so that’s why I give it 4 stars. I’d buy a nicer set if I did it again. We had a nicer one but lost a lot of the rocks so I bought this as a replacement.

It’s a great classic game and I love that it folds. Wood is good quality, as well as the movers. My only complaint is that the pits are too small to hold more than 5 movers at a time.

Poor design. Don't buy.
This is a great example of why we all buy our stuff at Amazon… my daughter and I were enjoying this game at first, then we realized the pits they made for this game are TOO SHALLOW! It doesn’t make the game unusable, but it’s just another sad example of my trying to buy things at someplace other than Amazon, but Target not doing their responsibility and due diligence to their customers by making sure their products are cheaply made garbage. Do not waste your money on this.

Has some negatives
Bought for my 10 year old for Christmas and he loves it! The colors of the stones are fun and well made. My only complaints are they board when opened does not lay flat which causes it to rock back and forth when playing and does become annoying because you have to hold the board to keep it still. Also the board its self could have been stained or something it’s a basic soft wood but that’s my opinion. Box shows a darker nicer looking color wood 🤷🏻♀️
