This is the only bedding I've found that truly hides the smell! after nearly a week there is minimal odor, whereas with other brands I got 2-3 days tops. I put about a 2 inch layer over washable pads in the bottom of our Guinea pig cage, it works out well for us. I only wish it came in bigger bags.

I use this in my rabbit's litter box and I've been happy with it. As packaged it's clumped together really tightly, so when I put it in his box I just separate it a bit with my fingers, so I think it really does expand to 3x. In the past I have used the Kaytee white litter that looks like shredded paper. Now THAT stuff you can see expand. I wanted to try this because the other litter we seemed to be changing my guinea pig's cage every other day because it seemed to have a low absorption rate.
