A: The natural colored material is, and most of the white is as well. However, a percentage of it is not, so there is no biodegradable claim. We do recommend discarding and not using as a compost.

Helps with smell
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love that this stuff is scented. It does help the bedding stay fresh a little longer than normal ones. It doesn’t seem to bother our hamster. The bag seems smaller but covers quite a few changes. Would buy again.

Maximum absorbency and comfort! Great odor control

Our hamster loves to burrow down below the bedding for a cozy sleep. I love that it controls odors so well. It is extremely absorbent-it truly lasts for 2 weeks! You can’t even tell that there is a hamster in our house. For cleaning purposes, I love that it is dust free and doesn’t get sticky or gummy in the cage. This is the only hamster bedding we use and we love it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This extreme odor control bedding is so fluffy and lightweight. Fully absorbent and really does prevent odor. Our rabbit Thumper’s cage stayed fresher longer. I really liked the brightness of the bedding which makes the cage look cheerful and fresh. It’s very easy to clean and doesn’t stick to the cage floor. I recommend this pet bedding.

No odor control- fake reviews
The other reviews seem to be part of their "promotion". I had to buy this bedding because my hamsters normal bedding was out. This bedding has zero odor control. We usually change her bedding after 2 weeks, and this one lasted 3 days, and the entire room stunk! We tried it again, and it only lasted 2 days. I would not recommend this bedding unless you want to clean the cage every couple of days.

This works really well

I love this litter and the mix of colors that are used, it’s very different than the traditional brown I usually use. I would definitely recommend to anyone with bunnies it lasts longer and is more economical in terms of cleaning.
