Climaplex Strength and Volume Shampoo - 13.5 fl oz

Why did Target drop this brand? This shampoo and conditioner was my main reason for a Target run. Now, I just get my things from stores closest to me and I had to switch to Bondi Boost. Please bring Climaplex Strength & Volume back :( You can’t even order it online anymore from Target.

The only drugstore shampoo that doesn’t dry out my highlighted hair.

I definitely think this is worth it for the price. My hair feels so soft after. My hair doesn’t feel tangled, stripped, dry, or brittle at all. I’ve experienced hair loss and thinning due to having covid and I think my hair actually feels and looks healthier since using this. The scent is light and very nice.

No idea who and why writes bad reviews about this product. I do know a little bit about ahir and skincare formulation and normally spend quite a lot of time reading through the lables. The majority of products are either cheap nothingness or overpriced but still not impressive. Marketing takes over, but what is new. So I always keep an eye on new and smaller brands. I am very happy to have foud this brand, this shampoo. My hair was previously bleached but now have a lot of natural root, so I can see how this shampoo plays on natural and damdged hair. It works GREAT. It is a very nice formulation made with a bunch of mild surfactants that provide cleaning without harshness. It has ingredeints normally seen in premium shampoos. I would like to see some adavcned conditioning silicone blends but I quess they are not on the company's list. There are couple of hydrolized plant proteins, extracts, amino acids, panthenol, niacinamides, tried and tested conditioning agents. Even if the percentages of these ingredients are minimal, it is still commendable that the company formulated with them. Technically this shampoo is "sulfate-free" and it behaves like one: not too thick and no "flash foam"- it doesnt foam wasy or fast. So you have got to remember that thinner shampoo doesn't mean you have to keep pouring: just give it few extra moment on the hair or apply twice if the hair is greasy or very dirty. Many people just don't wash their hair right: you got to use the shampoo on the scalp, not the whole length of hair. Just let the foam do the cleansing while you rinse. Also do take into considereation the state of the hair and the scalp: if your skin or scalp are dry already it might be wise to use no-poo solutions. I am glad that the formulators decided not to thicken this shampoo: no unnecessary ingredients. Anyway, it is a great product and even if you have adversion to the smell which should have been noticed at the time of the purchase, there is no reason tohate the product or throw the product away. Use it as a body wash if you don't like that for the hair. But honestly I have no idea what not to like here: this shampoo washes well, rinses well, leaves hair soft and adds volume. Excellent product, decent price.

Make my scalp super itchy, and my hair look dull.

This also dried my hair out and ended up in the trash.

I was doing my typical target run for like 3 things. Didn’t happen. My son said he wanted to pick out his own shampoo, and after spending too long for his liking I finally picked one that sounded decent and he liked the scent. He’s got fine straight blond hair and it seems drying when wet but after drying it makes his hair so full and shiny. I decided to try it and I prefer it over Olaplex. I have long and chemically lightened hair. And it’s so inexpensive, I don’t have to worry him using too much!

Finally i found something that helps my mix hair combo . My hair has been dry thru the roots and oily on top i couldnt find anything and the shampoos i use to get didnt help anymore. I was impressed my hair feels soft yet so light and lots of volume. It usuallt gets tangled and dry after a shower.

This shampoo has certainly improved the health of my hair and scalp! While it doesn’t really volumize, the hair loss left in the shower is minimal to none, and my hair is left so shiny and soft! The scent is clean and soft, but doesn’t linger for those who are sensitive. Price point is great. I’ve already repurchased 3 times now!

It had a really watered down consistency and it made my hair feel like straw. I tried this for about 2 weeks before I accepted defeat. It also left a lot of build up on my scalp no matter how well I rinsed.

Many harmful ingredients

Scent is awful to me. Smells like cheap vanilla perfume. I love how it looks on my hair, but the scent gives me headaches. Really wish they had a fragrance free option, but will have to stick with Odelle for now. Also, this doesn’t lather super well for me unless I double shampoo. Even without the lathering though it does clean my hair well.

Pros: no dandruff, good volume, less shedding Cons: messing up my curl pattern (3a/b hair) I will have to discontinue this product because my curls are now frumpy. It’s a bummer because it is great otherwise.

I was using biolage prior to this, and I honestly wouldn’t go back. This is the only shampoo I’ve found that doesn’t create a film on my hair and gives it volume! I’d say it’s in the clarifying shampoo category as I only need to wash 2x/week since using it - it doesn’t get greasy nearly as fast as others I’ve tried. I use it in combo with the conditioner and the smoothing cream before blow drying in sections. Love it!

I decided to test this stuff out and I was definitely happy with the results. Recommend if you are looking for a new hair product!!

I love this shampoo! I was hesitant to buy since there's so few reviews anywhere. It smells amazing and did a good job of cleaning my hair. It doesn't lather very well but still produced a decent amount. My hair was fluffy and had so much volume! I Have Thin Hair And It Didn't Feel Weighed Down

I was so excited to try this product but it has WHEAT/GLUTEN IN IT!!! It smells nice, got my hair, but also SO DRY!! So dry. And now I have sores coming up on my head which has NEVER EVER HAPPENED, EVER. I do have a wheat allergy so I’m wondering if it is the cause of the sores and itching… but I have used products with gluten in them before without issues… just be wary. Also the conditioner has ZERO SLIP, I put lots and lots and lots in and left it in for ten minutes, nothing helped, not even the spray in heat protector from this line. My scalp is inflamed and it is PAINFUL!!! Try at your own risk!!

My wife and daughter asked me to review this product as they both love it. They both have different hair and surprisingly they agree that their hair feels great after using it, and say they would definitely buy it again. Impressive to please both of them !!

I love this shampoo! I usually use Redken or Lanza, but I was in a pinch and just needed something. This one looked great! My hair feels super manageable after using it, feels very soft, and when I blow dried-it cooperated very well! (I have somewhat thin, straight hair…just a lot of it!) The only reason for giving 4/5 stars was I didn’t like the texture of the shampoo-it doesn’t really emulsify due to it being more on the liquidy side.

I really like it so far! First off, it really does what it says… it gives my fine hair volume!! I also love that it has a nice but light clean scent and that it really cleans my hair well. In my previous experience, sulfate free and naturally derived shampoos still left me with dirty/ greasy hair. I’m glad I found this shampoo!
