My teen has a very sensitive scalp and lots a shampoo's and leave in's cause her to get bad dandruff. She wanted to try this for the clarifying properties to try and wash out hair color. The unexpected result she got was it instantly cleared her dandruff in one wash. She did say it dried out her hair some but the benefit of it clearing her dandruff and removing all the oil and product build up she had was worth it. She wouldn't use this as an every time wash but once a week or so this shampoo would be great

This saves my hair! I have thick wavy hair and wash it 2x a week. I need to clarify every time I wash or else I get a horrible greasy buildup. I used this shampoo for several months with wonderful results, then I ran out and my Pickup order substituted the other Aveeno shampoo (the blue one, renewal?) instead of this bc they were out. And OHMYGOODNESS what a horrible difference!! My hair was greasy immediately after washing, after shampooing 2x! I had to wash my hair every other day (probably should’ve been everyday, but no time for that), and I had so much hair loss. Even so far as having two little bald patches on the sides of my head!! I finally connected the dots and just got this shampoo back, and all my hair problems are solved again. And I have peach fuzz growing back on my bald patches now. Yay. (I don’t think it was the shampoo ingredients per se that cause the balding, but rather the buildup/weight on the root). I use this as a first shampoo, then Redken Acidic bonding as a second & conditioner. And a Redken leave-in conditioner as well I have not noticed any dryness, but I could see how people would experience that if this were the only shampoo/product they used. For me, the clarifying (but not stripping) component is a total hair-saver!!

I like the smell but that's it. My hair was still greasy after washing twice with this shampoo. Didn't notice any improvement in my scalp. I finished the bottle; won't purchase again. I have thin, fine hair.

I had really bad build up from a different shampoo/conditioner to the point where after I showered it looked like the top of my hair was greasy. After 1 wash, this shampoo & conditioner removed the build up and put my hair back to normal. Definitely a life saver! Highly recommend if you struggle with oily build up.

I love the scent and the feel of my hair after using it. However, after using 80% of the bottle, I do notice I consistently get hives after around my back neck and scalp. It itches for a few hours and goes away. Also, a few strands of hair do come off while washing, which is kinda freaky seeing a clump of hair come off. I wash with a scalp brush. Would I buy this again? Probably not because of the hives. My hair feels great, though.

It has taken me so long to finally find my go to shampoo, and I finally found it!! My scalp gets oily very fast, and I also have issues with getting eczema on my scalp. Also, my ends are very dry and my hair sheds a lot…so finding a shampoo that tends to all of these needs has been really hard until now! Since using this shampoo, I can go an extra day without washing because it helps so much with oiliness!! It has literally solved my scalp eczema issues (yay no more itchiness!!) and my ends feel so hydrated with soo much less hair fall! All this, and it smells delicious too! I only wish I could buy it in a bigger bottle, because I never want to run out! I highly recommend this!!!
