A: Of course it contains silicones. One of the very first ingredients is amodimethicone. Cannot believe an official johnson & johnson and Target response would mislead you.

This shampoo is awful! I have fine unprocessed hair and this shampoo gave me so much static and dried my scalp out. The smell is very potent and stays with you all day. As a matter of fact, it took almost 2 weeks for the smell to be gone after I switched back to my normal shampoo. This is a pass for me.

Over a month ago I have been trying to buy this product. It's the only shampoo and conditioner that is simple and works wonders. It leaves my hair naturally shiny. I bought this around January and it’s march I don’t have it anymore but I’m thinking of buying it again. If you have that type of hair that doesn’t really accept smells of shampoo I wouldn’t recommend it. But after all it’s pretty nice!
