I've been trying many different makeup removers and I find many end up stinging my eyes or irritating my skin. Clinique's take the day off does neither. It gets everything off easily. I will always repurchase.

As a disabled girly, this product is clearly designed for able-bodied individuals. I have several medications with "child proof" lids that I've never had issues with, EVER. My hands are swollen and so sore from trying to open this product. Bought it 2 days ago & can't even use it :(

I was looking for a gentle, oil free makeup remover to use after cataract surgery and this was well recommended. It worked perfectly as it easily removed all mascara without rubbing and left my eyelids feeling clean and oil-free!

I've been using this product in the large size for a long time and it works great. Just wanted a smaller size bottle. But why on earth does it need a child proof cap -- the only one in the entire Clinique line, or any line? The large size has it -- was hoping the smaller bottle would not. A nuisance when getting ready for bed. Hence the one star deduction. Oherwise a great product.

I have to cut the lid to use and ended up cut my finger too. The customer care called to refund but never got it

I am currently embarked on a quest to find the best makeup remover. My dream is to find one that cuts through all of my makeup in one swipe, leaves no residue, is easy to use, and leaves my skin feeling refreshed. Bonus points for cute packaging and good value! Make up removing effectiveness: 3/5 I found I did not have to do a lot of scrubbing, but did have to do some. Residue: 3/5 The residue isn't the worst, but it is definitely present and not pleasant. Skin feel: 2/5 It doesn't sting my eyes themselves, but does burn a little on the delicate skin surrounding. It feels a little oily. Ease of use: 2/5 The child proof cap is a little annoying and I wish I had control over the rate it dispensed with a different cap. Value: Overpriced for what it does Empty? Yes. I used my whole bottle. It works as intended, just not a holy grail.

I have used this product many times. It feels a bit oil when applying it but removes my eye makeup very well. Would recommend it and will continue to purchase it for myself.

Perfect for traveling

I have been using Take the Day off for decades. I've tried samples but they don't come close. I really love how it can easily take off hard to remove lipstick. Get it!
