Love a cleansing balm but number one this isn't super effective on mascara like other balms and it smells like rancid oil. Such an unpleasant experience.

I don’t like this product. Farmacy’s works better. It doesn’t remove sunscreen or makeup the first time you work it on the skin. It could also be that it leaves a slight residue behind, but not a strong waxy feeling behind that I’ve seen with a lot of brands. I think this product is okay, but if you’re going to spend money at all, there are better makeup remover balms. Farmacy is a good one if you’re looking for something that works really well, is gentle, and doesn’t dry your skin out.

Make up removal never felt so good. I used to not like wearing make up because I found it difficult to remove and removers left my skin feeling icky and burned my eyes. But this cream goes on dry (it truly is silky like they say) and washes off everything in its wake. It's a lovely way to take care of my skin and start winding down for the night.

I will never use anything else but Take The Day Off Cleansing Balm. It leaves my skin hydrated and very clean. It is well worth the price. I have used many cleansers before that left my skin dry and itchy. Well done Clinique such a great product

I had perfect skin and 1 month ago I decided to try this product to help take off my makeup. I started to notice some small whiteheads at first and didn't think much of it. But now im battling full on cystic acne and big pimples all over my face aswell as the small whiteheads. The texture is weird too. This literally ruined my skin in one month!!! Nothing else had changed in my rutine except this. Stay away please.

I got this as a free gift from Clinique and initially did not know how to use it, left my face sticky and needing soap to wash it off. This was a user error, I youtubed how to use it and now love it. Takes off all the makeup and does not even need soap to wash it off. All it needs is patience to wash your face with warm water a few times (2-3). Skin feels smooth and it even works on eye makeup. This is the first ever makeup remover than works both on face and eyes, prevously I had to use two separate products.

I use the cleansing balm as my first cleanse. The texture is silky and it makes cleansing a very pleasant experience. After rinsing, my skin showed no traces of dirt or makeup.

This is now a staple in my routine. I use to melt my makeup off before washing my face. Feels great on my skin and you don't need a lot to remove a full face of makeup, including mascara. I got the gift set so the large jar goes in my bathroom and the travel size goes in my toiletries bag so I always have some!

I love this product! I was utterly amazed by how well it removed makeup, even waterproof mascara and extended wear lipstick but I was beyond amazed that it rinsed with just warm water so easily and left my skin feeling clean not at all oily or with any residue! Seriously, this stuff is magic.
