Usage Directions: To remove stains and odor: For best results, apply directly to tough stains. Rub in and set 510 minutes*. Do not allow product to dry on fabric. Wash as usual with detergent and Clorox 2 for Colors. *If in doubt, test for colorfastness. For larger stains, mix 1 capful of Clorox 2 for Colors with 1 quart of water and soak for up to 60 minutes. Wash as usual with detergent and Clorox 2 for Colors. To brighten colors: Fill cap to line 1 for HE machines or to line 2 for standard machines. If machine has detergent tray, add to tray, or pour in drum directly. Wash with detergent.

It also brightens clothes to the their original color. They say proof is in the pudding, so I've included before and after pictures of just how well Clorox 2 Stain Remover does it's job. The before and after pictures aren't that light due to the camera on my phone, but can see how well Clorox 2 worked it's magic to remove the stain on my Reebok shirt. I dabbed a little Clorox on the stain, rubbed in real well and rinsed. It removed 109% of the stain. With that being said, Clorox 2 has the release power to remove 3X more stains, odor and brightens clothes. Its safe for colors and fabric, and can be used alone or added to a load of laundry. Packaging is an 88 Fl.oz bottle, thats informative as well as colorful. You can wash up 70 loads, and it's bleach free. Great power house for your everyday laundry needs. I highly recommend!!

I did a laundry load and one of shirts had a grease stain which is very difficult to remove and the Clorox 2 stain remover and color brightener removed it. I like that is safe for all materials and colors, the only con is the smell is not very strong but it’s effective. Definitely worth it for the price.

To put this to the test I washed the decorative rug that I have under my doormat. It is black & white striped. It was full of grass stains,mud, and just dingy from dust and rain. The white stripes looked brown at this point so I figured this would really prove how well this product works. To my surprise, the rug came out of the washer looking nearly new. The black was brighter and the white stripes were brighter as well. All the grass stains were gone and it looks amazing now. To ensure I could get the stains out the best way possible, I followed the directions to spot clean and soak before I washed. I am very pleased with the results and discovered a little goes a long way. Looking forward to tackling more laundry for once, thats how excited I was to see how nice it turned out!

With most of our time spent outside, our clothes tend to get some kind of stain on them, whether it be grass or dirt. With this jug, you can put it directly on the clothing item where the stains are or simply just toss a little into the drum of your washer. I did both and both had worked well. This is also bleach-free and the scent is not overwhelming for not being scentless, so that's nice. Overall, I will probably be keeping this in my laundry room and on my grocery list.

My husband is a contractor and most of his work shirts and pants get stained with glues and paints. This detergent brightened the red of his shirts, removed strong odors (like sweat and varnish), and removed stains! I love how this multitasks and saves money in the long run. Thank you all! My clothes are usually colorful and I wear makeup daily, my collars often get stained with cosmetics . I used it in the main wash compartment of my washing machine and combined it with detergent in the pre-wash compartment. After washing, I was surprised to see the stains on the collars completely gone - normally, I'd have to scrub them before washing. My colored clothes looked brand new, with no fading, which was fantastic! Although it had a slight medicinal scent initially, the smell completely disappeared after washing, even though I intentionally didn't use Downy. The packaging is sturdy and eye-catching. I highly recommend giving it a try!

It has a nice pleasant scent and left my laundry smelling and feeling even more fresh and clean. It did well at getting most stains out (including a few stubborn ones). My daughter has sensitive skin and it did not cause her any irritation when wearing her outfits that I washed with this added in. The texture is on the thin runny side and not too thick. It is compatible with our HE washer. Overall very happy with how good it did at removing stains. Thank you.

I also use it on my black clothes to keep them from fading as well. It manages to take out the stains very well without damaging the colors. I definitely recommend it. It’s a great addition for my laundry.
