    700i Review

    I'm not able to give the radar an accurate review. The additional OBD!! power cord does not seem to stay connected to power. Every mile or so, I have to unplug it and plug it back in to power on the device. I'm not sure if it's the cord or my OBDII not staying powered on while driving. I have ordered a USB-C cord and see if it corrects the issue.

    It picks a signal from far away. I thought it was bogus until I saw the cop over a mile from me as I passed by and the signal was at high pitch. I love it!!

    I’ve been out of the radar seen for the last 15 years or so. This is the first raft I e purchased since one of cobras 1st iRad radar detectors which the app is no longer available. I e only used it once for a long drive, it seemed to do good so far. Only time will tell. Still looking at the escort 360c redline since I do a lot of driving from Texas to California for work. I need a good distance detector but so the cobra is doing what it’s supposed to. I would definitely recommend this for a beginner getting into them. I do like the features, just wish It had 2 antennas and maybe some arrows like the fancier ones.

    Only had few weeks, magnet mount is great, bought several so I can just put detector in different vehicles. Set your settings to detector through the app on your phone, its easier than top of detector. So far my only complaint is I wish the display on front would stay on instead of the Knight Rider line going back & forth.

    Great radar only one issue

    This radar is NICE. Worth every penny. Once you learn it, you will be so grateful you made the investment! I would have given it 5 stars, but it wasn’t clear that it gave with the 12v plug. I have a 2026 so the only 12v port I have is in my trunk. When I tried to cancel the order they sent me an email saying that their shipping department is faster than their communication department and that I could send it back. I ended up purchasing the correct cord but paid a ridiculous amount in shipping just so this radar would work in my car. If you’re looking for something nice, buy this. But if you need a barrel to c port for your car, add that on so you don’t end up in the same spot I did.
