I didn’t like that there was no book and directions. It is not very loud and the on button is so small when you reach on TASB to turn off you touch button under it. I have no internet service and my cell gets shotty signal.

So far, and I’ve only used it three times, I’m not at all impressed. A lot of false alerts, one legitimate alert, and one possibly missed alert where a state trooper was on the side of the road looking for speeders but no alarm went off.

I have been a long time escort/passport user, and I am thoroughly impressed with the Max 4 paired with the M2 camera. I was long overdue for an upgrade. The detector has great range like the 9500 I was using beforehand. I have received very few false alerts. The detector is quick to learn and recognize areas which are not actual LEO. The dash cam playback is clear. I am more than happy with this purchase, and will continue to be a lifetime customer.

I am use to brighter screen easier read out. And the voice speaks very fast and hard to understand for type of radar band. The positive side the sensitive seems accurate. I have the brightness max out and volume max out.

I did receive this detector as an upgrade for my Max 3. There were issues and I had to send the Max 4 back and awaiting it to be fixed or a new one to be sent to me. Hopefully this does not take to long. ,
