Cocokind's Ceramide Barrier Serum is specifically formulated with 5 types of ceramides and lipids that mimic and support skin’s natural barrier, helping skin recognize them more easily, this optimized serum nourishes and replenishes for healthy-looking skin. Ceramides, which are integral to skin barrier structure, are paired with complementary lipids, allowing them to be easily recognized and absorbed, along with ceramide precursors to promote skin’s natural ceramide production. Together they help reduce moisture loss and defend against external aggressors. Fatty acids add extra skin barrier support, while lactic acid gently renews skin helping ingredients sink in more easily. This serum helps reset and defend skin daily, making it ideal for all skin types and concerns.
Packaging uses plastic alternative such as FSC-certified paper, aluminum, steel, or glass with great potential to be widely circular for majority of product packaging. At least 50% of the packaging must use an alternative to plastic to qualify for this pillar.

A: Hi! We recommend checking out our postbiotic acne serum instead for the scalp. Our acne serum can be used on the scalp to help slough away any dry, flaky skin. This serum is powered by 1.5% salicylic acid, a beta hydroxy acid that work's on the scalps surface to clear congestion. And bonus - it's paired with microbiome-friendly postbiotics and beta glucan to help hydrate! To use: Gently massage a few drops of acne serum into your scalp, working in circular motions. Let sit for at least 30 minutes, or leave on overnight if preferred. Rinse out with shampoo and conditioner. Repeat 1-2x per week.

A: Hi! Our ceramide barrier serum was specifically formulated to provide hydration and skin barrier support on the face. However, feel free to use it on your body as well, as it also reduces trans-epidermal water loss and signs of irritation, leaving skin noticeably hydrated, supple, and more comfortable. You can also check out our ceramide body oil stick, which is specifically made for the body. This lightweight, mess-free body oil stick uses ceramides, squalene, and shea to replenish moisture and support your body’s skin barrier. It is also always a good idea to do a patch test before applying the product all over just to be safe.

I have extremely sensitive & oily, acne prone skin, but this has so many good reviews that I had to try it. This left my skin burning and stinging every time I would apply it. At first I thought I was just had a damaged skin barrier so kept using it, but despite my face being really hydrated & having a healthy skin barrier, this continued to sting and burn. Unfortunately I had to return it. Good to note that it didn’t break me out at least!

I love using this serum at night with my other skincare. It feels very hydrating and leaves my skin glowy. I have very dry skin and rosacea and this definitely helps to calm and hydrate my skin. I'm very picky about the skincare I do use because many products cause my skin to get irritated and sting. This has never done that to me. The product also lasts a long time for the size and price.

I have used this since around May 2023, around two years, and it never fails me. I have it on auto-subscribe every month ( the smaller size). It is the best hydration serum on the market for the price point. Like most people, my skin has its ups and downs, from super sensitive to oily and everything in between. It has helped me through it all. I have tried others from the ordinary, farmacy, Neutrogena etc. I was hooked on it by the first-month mark. I don't buy or look at anything else. This is the best option for anyone looking to strengthen their skin barrier and soothe irritation. It does not sting even when I have a damaged skin barrier. Packaging Easily recyclable, no leaks, no cracks during travel. Texture & Application The serum has a lightweight, slightly milky consistency that absorbs quickly without feeling greasy or heavy. It layers well under moisturizer and sunscreen, making it easy to incorporate into morning and nighttime routines. It also pairs well in light and heavy makeup days. Depending on how much you use, it should last over a month, give or take. Who It's Best For This serum is ideal for dry, sensitive, or compromised skin, but even those with combination or oily skin can benefit from its lightweight hydration and soothing properties. This definitely makes my skin feel good! Not sure if it's a miracle product, since my skin wasnt that bad starting off anyway. I just had a bit of dry cheeks, especially during the winter months, so this did make a difference for that! But other than that it's hard to really tell how much my skin has changed. I will say, that even just 2 drops feels like enough and a little goes a long way, which is nice since this is on the pricier side per fl oz than their other products. Definitely will be saving up to get another one once mine runs out! The texture might seem weird at first, since most "serums" are just straight liquid, and this is "thicker" and a bit more viscous? But dont worry, once you move it around it sinks right in and is very moveable :)
